The Household Cavalry Museum in London is a must-see attraction for any horse enthusiasts. It’s located at the historic Horse Guards building in Whitehall, and offers a unique glimpse into the history and traditions of the Household Cavalry, one of the oldest and most prestigious cavalry regiments in the British Army.
The museum's exhibits cover over 300 years of history, from the formation of the regiment in the late 17th century to its modern role as a ceremonial and reconnaissance unit. Visitors can see displays of historic uniforms, weapons, and equipment, as well as interactive exhibits on the daily life of a Household Cavalry soldier.
One of the highlights of the museum is the chance to see the Household Cavalry's famous horses up close. The regiment is known for its highly trained and impeccably groomed horses, which are used for ceremonial duties as well as reconnaissance missions. Visitors can watch demonstrations of the horses' training and see them being groomed and exercised in the museum's stables.
Whether you're interested in military history or just want to see some beautiful horses, it's well worth a visit.

Did you know the clock tower was officially named the Elizabeth Tower in 2012 in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee, but it is still commonly referred to as Big Ben, which is actually the name of the largest bell inside the tower.
The tower was designed by Augustus Pugin and completed in 1859. Despite its age, Big Ben has undergone several renovations over the years to keep it in good repair. The most recent renovation, which began in 2017 and recently finished, and includes work on the clock mechanisms, the roof, and the tower's masonry.
Big Ben is a popular tourist attraction, and visitors can take tours of the tower and see the clock mechanisms up close. The tower is also a popular spot for photography, and its image can be found on many postcards and social media posts.
As you can see, Big Ben is a must-see attraction when visiting London. Its iconic status and impressive size make it a symbol of the city and a popular tourist destination. Its rich history and beautiful design make it a true masterpiece and a testament to the ingenuity and craftsmanship of its creators.

This was my first time visiting Mallorca and the city of Palma, and it did not disappoint. This was a 100% girls trip, and a perfect one at that. Not your typical girls trip as there was close to no partying involved. We mostly caught up while lounging on the beach or at the pool, read a few books and had amazing food. The most activity we had was going into Palma to visit the city.
After ticking off the Catedral-Basilica de Santa Maria de Mallorca, I would recommend just roaming around and getting "lost" on the streets of Palma. Of course make sure you have a fully charged phone and internet reception in order to make your way back to the hotel or a central point of meeting with friends. But it's worth just walking the center with no specific destination in mind, just a curious attitude to explore and enjoy the city. After a good walk, stop at a nice restaurant or bar for some tapas and relax while sipping some amazing wine.
This was the most relaxing holiday where the only worry of the day was which drink to chose, highly recommend you plan a girls trip like this. You'll feel refreshed and energized after.
