Just like flowers bloom every spring, you can choose to have hope in your heart. This too shall pass and everything will be better again. It's hard to see now, because of how scary it is, but it will get better. Don't give up hope!
"Spring is a beautiful reminder of how beautiful change can truly be"
You can choose to see the brighter side even in darker times. Talk to your family and friends, ask for help. You don't have to keep it all in, reach out to someone. Stay safe babes!

Who's missing food and socializing? raise your hands 🤚🏻 We're lucky enough to still have plenty local restaurant delivering, but I do miss the experience. It's a hard time for us all, especial local restaurants and shops that were forced to close because of the pandemic. Thankfully you can shop at local stores, rather than big supermarkets or look for small restaurants that deliver, rather than chains. It's an opportunity to discover new places, hidden gems. However, I have to say really feeling the whole
"I wish I developed more hobbies than eating out"
Did you pick up any new hobbies during quarantine? I've been spending my time doing the usual working, cooking, working out and binge watching series, as well as unhealthy amount of Disney+. Soon I'll also share what I've been loving to watch and eat. Stay safe babes!

Today's message is simple, yet at times hard to achieve. Be better! than you were yesterday, than last month, than last year. But don't compare yourself to anyone else, especially not actresses or models. It's unhealthy to compare yourself to anyone else, because we are all different and unique. You are on your journey and everything will happen at the right time for you. So be kind and be better for yourself. Stay safe babes!

This outfit simply makes me feel like a modern day princess. It's probably the headband and Rapunzel hair! But honestly, I just love how simple yet put together the look is. A spring day to day uniform, if you will. I'll keep it short and sweet this week, stay safe babes!

As someone finding themselves in self-isolation during these scary times, I can't help but dream of spring and last year when I was able to roam around care free, taking pictures in my favorite places. In the spirit of dreaming of spring and better times (which we'll find ourselves in again very soon, hopefully), I'm sharing this effortless look from my looks archive. Stay safe babes!

These pictures were taken a few months ago, pre hair cut and as previously mentioned, I do have a lot of amazing content shot and never shared, so starting to slowly share it with you gals. Looking at these makes me miss my long hair for a second, then I remember how hard it was to maintain and style - on the rare occasions I would attempt styling it. I am blessed with lot of hair, which meant at this length it was heavy and honestly gave me headaches. Would I grow it this long again, despite what I just said? Of course! Just look how nice it is! But for now I'll celebrate my shorter hair - as in shorter than this, not actually short - also, getting my hair this long will take a couple of years, so let's just enjoy the pictures in the meantime.

Now that it's gotten colder, like way colder, it's time for tailored looks and fluffy cardigans. This one makes me look like a giant pink marshmallow and I love it! Back to the main point of this post, I noticed a lot of tailoring on the runways of all big four fashion weeks and I'm obsessed. I adore tailoring on women in general, as I've expressed before, so seeing it stronger than ever on the runways makes me happy and inspired.
I enjoy styling tailored pieces more casually by pairing them with t-shirts or sneakers or giant pink marshmallow cardigans in this case. To me it's empowering and expresses confidence, just gives a fab boss vibe. You know how it goes..."I'm not bossy, I'm the boss!".

London during the festive season is simply magical, most window shops and restaurants are decorated making you feel like you're walking around a movie set. Quite honestly I love that about London, that atmosphere in the air and dreamy installations. I'm very excited for another year in my favorite city and will back soon with my goals for the new year. Have you set any goals / resolutions?
Today I'm happy to share the fabulous exterior of The Ivy Chelsea Garden, which always have some of the most magnificent installations. They are prepared for every occasion and I can't wait to see how they're going to top the Christmas one. As you can see in the pictures it looks like vibrant gingerbread house, decorated with Christmas baubles and giant "candy canes".

Since we've entered the sale season, I'm going to share Friday my best sale finds!

I finally managed to go to the beach this year! Woohoo! Unfortunately the water was already too cold for my tasting so I only got my feet inside for a bit, but it was still lovely. I've mentioned this multiple times - the seaside is my happy place. Everything from the salty smell in the air to the calming sound of the waves brings me joy. Next year I need to plan a proper seaside holiday, even if it's for a few days. It's so important for your mental health to do things that keep you balanced and bring you bliss. Spending time at the seaside helps me reset and put everything into perspective. I'm already looking forward to so many trips that are coming, keep tuned for that especially on my Instagram as you'll always see it there first!

If there was ever a time to feel like a princess it was in Malaga in the gorgeous Alcazaba. Wandering and running around started with the idea of capturing that perfect photograph, but it was so playful that my heart really got into it. It was so fun and dreamy that I felt like a princess, though my shoe choice wasn't the most inspired. It may look cute, but even mid heels on cobble stone are weird not to mention it made me loose my balance at times. I do love these sling-backs though, they are beautiful and comfortable on pavement. To be fair, I couldn't imagine a more perfect look for this fantastic location. Isn't it the dreamiest place?

Malaga is a gorgeous port city on Spain's Costa de Sol. Initially I thought it would be a small city - don't ask why cause I have no idea - but it actually has a population of over half a million. The picturesque old city center atmosphere and the stupendous citadels Alcazaba & Gibralfaro make this city a must on your bucket list. I didn't know I needed to see it until I was offered the opportunity, if that makes sense. As always in Spain, the food is amazing and the people are friendly, couldn't praise it more. You can see in these and next week's pictures just how stunning it is, as well as in my last lookbook vlog.

The Kew gardens or the Royal botanic gardens are located near London and expand on more than 130 hectares. Are you impressed yet or should I go on? It's London's largest UNESCO world heritage site and is the perfect getaway place, not to mention the iconic Palm House is an Instagram heaven. Did you know it functions also as a research center that maintains the largest plant collection in the world? It's truly breathtaking to see and an amazing destination to connect with nature while escaping hectic London for the day.
Side note, let's talk about shoes for a second and specifically sling-backs - when mid heel sling-backs first came out I wasn't really a fan. The heel just looked low and unflattering for some reason. With time they warmed up on me and I started appreciating their beauty. As more models came out catering for more styles, I fell in love and honestly now their one of my favorite shoes. They're comfortable, yet give you some height and are actually incredibly flattering. Funny how we things grow on us with time. Are you a fan?

Let's start today's post and this week with a small, but powerful reminder. You are the sole writer, creator and director of your story. Outside factors might influence it, but as long as you believe and work hard, your story will follow the script you have planed with small surprises and hick-ups along the way, but things even more beautiful than you imagined will happen. I love traveling and I keep saying that like a broken record, but it's true and feel so fortunate of how much I've already traveled this year. It's so satisfying and something I always try to make happen as it brings me so much happiness. It's of course not cheap, but with good planning it can be somewhat affordable and always worth it, just look at these pictures showing the stunning Lecco. Doesn't it look worth every effort?!

Weddings are amazing for 2 reasons in particular: celebrating love, which is simply amazing and should be done all the time, and dressing up. You all know just how much I adore to glam it up, but do need a special occasion for that. As much as I enjoy dressing up for work, some outfits just aren't possible. Can you imagine me arriving at the office in a gown, would be hilarious but not the best way to start the day. For this Italian Wedding I chose a green satin dress that has ruffles and asymmetric details paired with my Ted Baker princess shoes. I don't get enough reasons to wear these beauties, but rest assured they get out with every opportunity possible. Another recent favorite are the earrings I'm wearing, love the celestial theme which is so dear and near to my heart.
What's your go-to for a wedding?

As I started writing this post about this fabulously colorful passage in Bucharest I realized this is the first time you see my new hairstyle. I've shared this already on my Instagram, but for my readers who don't follow me there - you really should though - this is like a cute surprise. Long time readers know I've had a fringe before, usually get one every 4-5 years and have been doing so since school. It's typically a spur of the moment, however this time I actually thought this through, for a few months to be honest.
I love having bangs, but the reality is they are very high maintenance. I'm blessed with hair that grows fast which is fun and has given me the opportunity to cut my hair different styles care free frequently along the years, but when you want to keep your fringe as cute as the hairdresser cut it it's frustrating - though I'm not complaining.
"Fun Fact" bangs get greasier faster than the rest of your hair as they are always in contact with your forehead and you continuously touch them, somehow we're always with a hand in our hair arranging that fringe. You'll wake up in the morning with your fringe looking like a broom and the wind is your Nr. 1 enemy, also exercising looks funny for everyone surrounding you and sometimes no matter what you do it refuses to cooperate. Despite all that, on good days it looks amazing and can save a bad hair day, no make-up day or even lazy dressing day. It might seem that there are more bad points to it then good ones, but the good outweighs the bad.
This time I went for a piece-y fringe which has major cool factor and is also easier to style. I'm really loving it, however it's already started to grow. I'm going to keep it for a while. In case you were wondering, I also got a trim and had some more layers put in but will carry on with the long hair for now.

The Romanian Athenaeum is a landmark in Bucharest which operates as a concert hall. This fairytale -like palace has been a temple of Romanian art and culture since 1888. It was designed by french architect Albert Galleron with 6 columns and mosaics with the faces of 5 Romanian rulers: Neagoe Basarab, Alexandru cel Bun, Vasile Lupu, Matei Basarab and King Carol I. The inside is even more impressive than the outside, they didn't let me shoot inside though so you'll have to visit for yourself.
Did you know it was built almost entirely with money donated by the Romanian citizens?! The campaign was 'give a penny for the Athenaeum' - how cool is that?

As someone who promotes positivity and always tries to embody it, false positivity is a fascinating subject. I often look for the positive in every situation choosing not to focus on the bad as most of the times the situations making us negative are just a passing moment that won't even matter in a year. What's the point of spending your days drowning in a pessimistic mood for the small stuff? There is none. However, this shouldn't be confused with masking feelings with false positivity.
All feelings are natural and in a world of depression and anxiety it seems like most people are afraid to feel, which is unnatural. Being sad and upset is normal, everyone goes through these emotions. There is no need to mask them with fake smiles. People are now judging each other for having "bad feelings". Instead of being acceptive when seeing someone sad, they tell them to stop crying or ask what's wrong with them. Le's make this clear, there is nothing wrong with expressing your emotions. It takes courage! Pushing away your feelings will only result in bursting at a random moments. Shaming your close ones for feelings you don't understand is not only wrong, but promotes a bad habit. Try to be supportive and a true friend. We are emotional creatures and should embrace it. Negative principals are vital in order to support relationships and form a balanced lifestyle. All emotions are part of life and need to be experienced. No need to mask or push them aside. Deal with them as they come, let them run their course. Say no to false positivity!
If you're curious what has brought this, I stumbled upon a Ted Talk with psychologist Susan David.

I may have moved from Milan, but that doesn't mean it's not always in my heart. Milan is a wonderful city full of vibrancy, beauty and fashion - it's always a pleasure to come back, not to mention I have some of my best friends there who I'm always over the moon happy to see. However if there's something I always regret when moving to a new city is that I didn't get to explore the one I was living in even more. Does anyone else feel that way or is it just me? I'm really trying not to make that mistake with London and attempting to explore it a bit more with every chance I get.
Back to Milan now, one of the less known places you can visit, that is truly stunning to see, is the San Lorenzo Basilica. The Basilica is one of the oldest churches in Milan, but even more spectacular are the Colonne di San Lorenzo in front. These are a group of ancient Rome ruins that had been moved to Milan. They are a group of 16 Corinthian columns which allegedly have been removed from either a 2nd century temple or a public bath house. The Colonne di San Lorenzo are remarkable no matter what structure they came from and if you're curious to visit them, the ruins are located close to Navigli - a set of interconnected canals that are surrounded by cute local restaurants, gelateria and shops. That whole area has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere I really love. It's the perfect place to go have an aperitivo and enjoy the Milanese evenings.
Have you visited Milan? Which less known places do you adore?

Amsterdam's Bloemenmarkt was founded in 1862 and is the only floating flower market in the world, how cool is that?! Pictures don't even do it justice how beautiful it is and you can obviously imagine the perfume from the flowers is mesmerizing. As it's a huge touristic attraction it is sadly packed with people who are admiring all the gorgeous flowers, but if you're patient enough you can always get some fab pictures in there. On my way there I was sure I could resist the temptation of buying anything yet I left with 3 bags of tulips to plant next spring, so be aware. If you love flowers as much as I this is definitely the place to visit along with the tulip fields, which I'm sure aren't as glamorous as you see on Instagram, probably always full of people and hard to shoot pictures in. However I love flowers and it's a dream to be in a field surrounded by amazing colorful tulips. I couldn't tell you if this was my favorite outfit in Amsterdam, as I loved all the ones I wore, but the Bloemenmarkt was definitely one of my favorite places to visit.
Did you visit any fields of flowers? Let me know your experience!

This has to be the most over the top glamorous outfit I ever wore for breakfast! I knew this cute Cafe deserved a fab outfit, but even for my style this was a bit much for the time of day. In all honesty when ordering the dress I thought the pink would be more muted, I was clearly wrong. To be clear, I don't regret it as it did look stupendous - just putting it out there that I know. Also my over the top breakfast which included a milkshake topped with a donut, whipped cream, marshmallows and fruit loops with a giant smoothie bowl matched my over the top vibe perfectly.
The kimono aesthetics is what attracted me to this dress and it really wow's when you wear it. While it was a bit outside my comfort zone simply because it was 9am, I adored this outfit. No matter how unusual a look might seem, never let anyone put you down for it. We don't all love the same things - thank God, otherwise fashion would be unbearably boring. At the end of the day, it was fun to wear and I got cute pictures, there's always a next day for a new look or in my case after breakfast.
