Bell sleeves & Bandage layering at Golden Hour

Layering is the absolute best, don't you think? It's still freezing cold outside, so still hard to be fashionable. At least I find it quite hard to come up with fun outfits during the winter time, I just want to bundle up in my blanket and never leave the bed. That might be a bit extreme, but you get the point.

For today, I layered a bandage crop top over a shirt dress. The vibe of the whole look is feminine, but edgy thanks to the leather details, which is how I like it. Of course, when trying a similar style in the winter time, you need to layer leather pants underneath the dress to keep you warm. If you don't like leather pants, go for leggings or really thick stockings.

To be honest, when envisioning this look I had a few concerns about the end result, but it turned out quite chic. The bell sleeves add a trendy layer, seeing how this year is all about the statement sleeve.

What are your thoughts on layering crop tops over blouses?

Have a pink-tastic day!

  27. Wow Carina you look incredible! I adore your outfit and the way you've layered the crop top over the blouse. It's an unexpected and very imaginative way of styling the pieces, and the end result is feminine and ultra-chic. I'm sorry to hear the cold has left you wanting to hibernate. I do hope the weather improves soon!
