Bikes & Flowers in Amsterdam

In my previous blog post I shared how impressed and in love I was with Amsterdam after just the first morning spent in the delightful city. After checking in and a quick power nap that might have actually been a few hours we got ready and started exploring the city. Something struck me above all else. We all know my love for flowers is on another level and I knew Amsterdam was famous for having stunning flowers everywhere, but I still hadn't realized it would be this remarkable. It makes the whole city look happy and outstanding, needless to say I was impressed. Wait til you see the pictures from the Bloemenmarket next week! The city is also overflowing with sweets shops, which no one warned me about. There is sugar temptation everywhere! As a sugar addict it was definitely hard to roam around without stopping in every little cute shop to basically buy the whole store, but you'll be proud to know I didn't eat my weight in sweets just half my weight shhh. There is also obviously a picture with the famous 'I Amsterdam' sign, just had to.
