It is said that color therapy dates back thousands of years to Egypt, Greece and China. Color therapy is a holistic healing that uses the spectrum of light and colors to influence the mood and mental health of people. Now, if you believe it to be true it's up to you, however no one can deny how fascinating the idea is. Allegedly your chromatic surroundings could influence your emotions and state of mind. We all know different colors impact us subconsciously, like how the color blue has a calming effect. I remember when studying psychology in school the teacher told us purple will help us remember what we learned, meaning a lot of us wore purple for exams or at least had something purple on us.
My favorite way of surrounding myself with vibrant colors in grey London is by visiting floral or colorful Cafes. Being surrounded by multicolored and radiant flowers brightens my mood and resets all my stresses and worries, at least for a while. Obviously there's no need to spend money on Cafes if it's not your thing, there's always the option of a radiant outfit, taking a stroll in the park, visiting a museum - the options for incorporating colors in your life are endless. Next time you want a boost of confidence try a red outfit or if you wanna equilibrate yourself take a nice long walk in the park surrounding yourself with green.
Have a pink-tastic day!
Kisses
