Red to toe is one of the most fun yet challenging trends of the season. We all know that red is sexy and empowering, but throwing on a flirty red dress would have been the easy way. I wanted to create an all red outfit that would be appropriate for work. Something elegant and stylish, without looking mental.

The base combines a classic cut red blouse with a silk a-line midi skirt. Look at the movement this skirt has!! It's amazing, it just makes you want to dance and twirl. There's a lot of red, so a nice wide belt helps highlight your waist and we already know waist belts are one of this fall's trends. The secret to making a red to toe outfit work are different textures and shades of red. You'll notice the bag, bracelet and watch are a darker red shade with faux crocodile texture. The peep toes are satin, which gives elegance and it's incorporating the satin trend.

Overall it works, however you do need a lot of confidence to walk around the city and office like this. It will get you some curious looks, but remember it's all in good fun, as fashion should be. If you're not loving the "Red to Toe", but still want to play around with the red trend, add some red accessories to your outfits.

Would you rock a red to toe outfit?

If you've been following for a while, you'll know my favourite outfits are chic yet comfy. Today I wanted to style an office look with a sporty twist. To achieve this, just go for sneakers instead of heels or ballerinas and a fluffy slightly oversized pullover instead of a blazer. The base consists of the suit pants and dressy shirt, but this way it's a bit more comfy and smart casual rather than elegant.

Pairing suit pants with sneakers is a cool new way of wearing the pants. If you want to make the look even more casual, opt for an oversized T-shirt instead of the dressy shirt.

Also, look how pretty all of the colourful leaves are!

Would you wear this at work?

Hello my beautiful Dolls!

It was long overdue to "steal" one of my boyfriends shirts again, since I haven't done it for a while. I wanted to try out something new and this was the perfect solution, though I don't think he would agree. I wonder if he'll ever get used to it? ahahah

Anyway, if you don't remember the other outfits in which I styled his shirts, check some : here, here, here and here. For this look I wanted to go for a tomboy inspired vibe, wearing the shirt as a jacket with a white crop top underneath, instead of a normal cami, ripped jeans and my block heeled boots, also added a studded statement bracelet for extra detail. It's not something I would usually go for, but it was quite fun wearing this outfit.

Let us not forget, fashion is all about experimenting and having fun! If we wanted to. and had the money to pull off multiple wardrobes, we could dress up in a different style everyday. Imagine walking up and thinking, hmmm today I want to go for a 50s/ 90s/ preppy/ feminine/ rocker/ altheleisure/ sporty/ etc. look.  It must be fun, like adult dress up, so when possible and in the mood I like to change it up. What do you think?

Hi Dolls!

Today I want to share my spin on an office look. This will be a corporate style inspiration, but in upcoming posts I'll share also outfits for working in a more creative environment. In order to make this outfit more me and fun, I opted for an asymmetric draping blazer, an oversized structured blouse and a statement ring. I think the draping blazer and statement necklace give the look some personality and a modern touch. For a pop of colour and boldness, I added a watermelon lip colour. Also, I look like my mother in the first pictures, which is a bit weird but I like it.

Hey Dolls!

Todays outfit is going back to basics, a black & white classic combination but with a pop of green. These are my favourite high heeled sandals, meaning I should probably try to wear and style with them more often. If you've followed my blog for some time now, you know I'm all about monochrome and simplistic, but chic ensembles. The lace of the shorts give the outfit it's softness and femininity, while the blouse gives it its elegance and structure. It's a lovely combination of girly and modern office wear. At least that's how I thought of it.

This weekend I decided to wear a feather-like skirt for a night out. I usually choose a centrepiece and then build the outfit around it, especially for clubbing or parties. The skirt is kind of elegant and different, so I wanted to dress it down a bit.

I don't usually like to take outfit pictures at night because the quality isn't at its peak. Since I don't own any studio lights, the pictures also tend to get a yellow undertone, sadly. Hope you still like the outfit though.

Hey Dolls!

I'm finally back with an outfit post, this one kind of special from a luxury gala I attended. It will also feature some outfit pictures for the guys, which is a first on my blog. Usually I post my sisters outfit along with mine, but this time I wanted to try something new. If it's something you would enjoy seeing more of, tell me in the comments bellow.

This gala is close to my heart and I post a yearly outfit from it. This year I went for a black dress, with a lot of attitude, if you could say so. The combinations of the elements with the hair style and make-up came out even better than I imagined.

Hey Loves!

Back to Slovenia from Italy. I love traveling! Sadly the weather there was really rainy, so I couldn't take a lot of pictures and also we were pretty busy, always on the run. However I had a lot of fun and as always got some edible souvenirs. Yumm! I might not have been able to take pictures there, but wanted to recreate it for you and shoot it in the sun. This look gives me major office vibes. Let me know if you love it!

Hi Dolls!

Today was a Uni day followed by a walk in the park with a friend that turned into a mini picnic. This is what I would call that a good day. I was dressed casually since I had a seminar. Considering the weather got better again, I wore some cute ballerinas.

Even though it was casual I like the print of the shirt, it says "I love rock n roll", which is what made me accessorise it with my skull and studs bracelet.
