This New Year will be a new experience for everyone. We're a few days away and honestly I have no idea what to expect and what I'll do. This New Year's lookbook is inspiration for myself as well. As I mentioned last week, dressing up puts me in a positive mood, and while the world is in chaos it's easy to get depressed and get trapped in a funk. My way of battling that is beautiful clothes styled in gorgeous outfits. Even if it's to stay in the house. I'm not a make-up artist so my make-up is usually basic, but even that helps improve my mood. It's the process more than the result. Though honestly I hate taking off my make-up, it's one of the reasons why I don't wear it daily. Filming lookbooks has become an activity I enjoy, from planing the outfits to getting ready and filming, so it would bring me a lot of joy if you'd check this New Year's lookbook out and make sure to subscribe for weekly videos.

For todays post I chose an outfit with a classic combination: Monochrome. I used to love wearing white and black when I was in high school, I had a period where I would wear just monochromes.
The outfit is more lady-like because of the faux pearl necklace and bracelets, and it just looks classic. Since the weather remains sunny and warm I can now dress up for dinners and nights out. In this instance I went for dinner with a couple of friends and had a lovely time.

On the day we took the pictures, the sun was shinning and it was such a pleasant weather. I wore a skirt that I've had for a while and still love. The weather seemed to be getting better and the sun was shining, so I decided to wear this spring maxi dress. Unfortunately, as I feared the weather was deceiving and appearances can't be trusted. Turned out to be quite chili, so I layered my leather jacket on top. This made the outfit edgier in my opinion and offered more dimension to the look. Do we love it?

Back to Slovenia from Italy. I love traveling! Sadly the weather there was really rainy, so I couldn't take a lot of pictures and also we were pretty busy, always on the run. However I had a lot of fun and as always got some edible souvenirs. Yumm! I might not have been able to take pictures there, but wanted to recreate it for you and shoot it in the sun. Finally spring in Vienna! It's warm, the sun is shining even though it's a bit windy, so basically it's as perfect as Viennese weather can be at this time of the year. This will be my last spring outfit from Bucharest. I've had this dress for a long time and from time to time I just feel like wearing it. It's flowing, with an open back and really light so perfect for spring. I chose to wear it with some cute Gucci ballerinas. I like these a lot, but they hurt my feet so much! I really only wear them for pictures or super short walks. For the accessories I went with a bold statement bracelet. The edgy design of the bracelet is in juxtaposition with the femininity of the dress, which I enjoyed when putting this together.

For me the outfit looks a little bit country-ish, but fresh and something new and different than my usual outfits. I like the fact that the dress has movement to it and the puffy sleeves make it extra girly .

I know I have been missing for a few weeks now, but as I mentioned in my previous blogpost I am on my spring break in Bucharest. I needed time to relax and spend with my family. While I didn't take a lot of pictures or the time to write posts, I did take some special pictures from a truly exquisite event.
I had the luck to go to the launch of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Watches, which took place at the swiss ambassadors residence in Bucharest. It was an honour since I am a huge fan of watches and these ones are something out of the ordinary.
Since it was the launch I chose to wear one of my favourite dresses with a bolero on top, otherwise the dress would be more revealing, which I din't find appropriate for this event. I paired the look with super high heels, which I love to wear every time I come home since in Vienna it's not possible for me. With the accessories I kept it clean and wore only my Tiffany ring.

Another cold day in Vienna, but met with a new optimistic attitude! This time I chose to dress up and ignore the weather, which made it a very freezing day. It was none the less a lot fun. And after-all what's the point of having so many fun clothes if you can never wear them? That being said, always keep in mind to layer some cardigans and coats that keep you toasty. Don't get a cold just because you want to show off a cute outfit.
Back to the look, I love the feathery skirt because it's really fluffy yet elegant, perfect for colder days. The bow detail cinches the waist in and creates more dimension in the outfit. I enjoy these kind of outfits that are girly yet put together and more on the elegant side.

I call it an illusion of spring because it only lasted one day and we're back to clouds, and snow was announced for the weekend. I'm still hopeful we'll get more sunny days soon.
