Summer Sleep Essentials

Today I want to talk to you about my Summer Sleep Essentials. The inspiration came from this new Venice Beach based bedding company called Parachute. Since the heat of the summer is still here, I thought it could turn out to be a lovely post. So let's get started on my Essentials, which in all honesty aren't many.

These aren't in any particular order. Like everybody else I love fresh bedsheets, however in the summer months I like pastel powdery colours with a cooler undertone. I have no explication as to why the cooler undertones work better in the hot months, it's just a weird preference.

In summer I love using cooling masks before bed, which serve two purposes: they help me cool down and the take care of me skin. Skincare is important year round, however our skin reacts differently in each season so we have to take care of it accordingly. While still on the skincare subject, I also prefer a gel textured cream since it's more cooling.

The next one isn't necessarily only for summer as you should always drink a glass of water before bed. However in the summer months ice water is just like a wonderful treat for your body. In the colder months a calming tee can help you sleep and warm up.

Before bed I also enjoy reading a light funny book or watching a funny series/movie.
