Empties can help get a fresh perspectives on a new product or a product you've heard about before. I enjoy watching them since you see what other beauty lovers really ended up using and if they would repurchase. In my opinion if you're willing to repurchase a product it means it was really good, otherwise you would keep on experimenting until you would find "the one".
Positive reviews are my favorite, because I believe in putting good energy in to the world, however honesty is very important. In this video you can see the products I love, which I've also repurchased, and those you were just nice or bad.

It's a peach make-up look that is very light and fresh, because no one wants a tone of make-up caked up on their face what it's super hot outside and you feel like melting. This is something I would wear for going out on summer days, it's very glowing and bronzing, yet incredibly easy to achieve.

How is your week so far? Mine has been quite lovely! For this week's video I wanted to share my MAC lipstick collection with you. If it's a small or big collection depends on your own perception, but I think it's a nice round-up. I love lipsticks and collect them. For me they are the one make-up item I can't go out without, even without any other make-up on, I love using a lip product.
In the future I also plan on filming a liquid lipstick collection, but was wondering if you would love to see it?

In todays post I'll share with you my make-up essentials for travelling. This post won't contain any skincare or cleansing products, strictly make-up. I would say I'm pretty organised and never take more that necessary, perhaps sometimes less than I should. For example I forgot to take my bronzer and a lip balm. Of course it depends on the destination and season what kind of product textures or colours I choose. If I were to pack for a beach summer vacation I would probably take a mascara, lipstick and BB cream, and barely use them. What I can say is, that I always overpack lipsticks. I'm a lipstick addict/hoarder so I like to have a lot of options. Lately, I've been better and controlled myself to only pick 3-4 shades. Anyway this is what I packed for a weekend.

I did a simple make-up look, using a classic combination and decided to share it with you. Eyeliner and red lipstick go perfectly together, as most actresses have taught us during the years. It's really easy to achieve and requires very few products, you just have to practice your liner, which I still struggle with. Lately, I have been obsessed with matte lipsticks so you'll see that a lot on the blog this month.

While in Milan I wore another preppy inspired look, this time using a midi skirt. The weather was quite rainy, but I still enjoyed a full day walking through Milan. For the Caesar Gala I went for a soft smoky eye look and natural lips. I think fake lashes would have gone great with this look, but I forgot mine at home and didn't get around buying any. However the look came out pretty good, if I could change anything it would be going for a peachier blush instead of the posietint.
I used Nooner as my crease colour, then Darkside (light charcoal colour) all over the lid and Blackheart (black colour with red glitter) at the wing to smoke everything out. For my highlight I used Strange (matte light colour). Lately I've been starting with the eyes and than put foundation on, since dark colours can have fall out sometimes. I really enjoy sharing this make-up close ups from time to time, hopefully you do too.

To be totally fair I don't really carry a lot of make-up with me, I just have a "make-up bag" in which I carry some essentials. The only make-up is a lipstick, which usually varies from seasons to season or what I'm wearing that day and a concealer, just in case.
The pouch I am currently using is from Gucci, which I've had for about two years or so and am really happy with. At the moment I'm using the NYX full coverage concealer and the MAC lipstick in Pure Zen. I always try to have some sort of pills against headaches or the flu, something multipurpose and at the moment it's paracetamol. Also very important, try to keep some hand wipes and a toothbrush with a mini toothpaste, you never know when you might need them. I like having a small comb in case my hair gets all tangled up, some hand cream if my hands get dry and a lip balm, especially in the colder months when your lips need help to stay hydrated and plump. Something I always try to remember to put back is a hair tie with a bobby pin clipped to it. We all know bobby pins disappear mysteriously, which is why I clip them to my hair tie. You should try to keep band aids in your bag, for blisters or if a friend needs one. The last thing is a perfume sample or a Travelo, which is a small container that you can fill with your favourite perfume. Mine is filled with The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit perfume. I have to admit my obsession for red lipstick. Some of you might think that having five red lipsticks isn't a lot and others my think it's kind of unnecessary. Truthfully it is unnecessary to have five different shades of red lipsticks and I was happy even when I had just two. For me red lipsticks inspires elegance and looking sexy, being bold but classy, if that makes any sense.
Some of the shades may look alike, but they are all a little bit different. The NYX one is the softest and easiest to pull off anytime. MAC Morange and YSL Nr. 13 look more similar in picture than they are in real life. The YSL one is more red toned, while the MAC one is more orange toned and warmer. For me the YSL shade is a year round lipstick, while the MAC one I tend to use more during spring and summer, do to the orange tones in it. MAC Red and Chanel Nr. 104 look almost identical in the photograph, but there is a difference. MAC Red is cooler toned, more of a berry red lipstick and the Chanel one is a shade warmer. They are similar, but unique at the same time. My favourites at the moment are the Chanel and the YSL one. Which is your favourite red lipstick?

Hallo from Salzburg my dolls!
This week was one dedicated to exploring and admiring Salzburg. I had my lovely friend visiting me, so we just walked around the city, took pictures and went full on tourist. It was a lovely time and I'm pumped that she came to visit. The outfit I chose for one of the days is casual chic. The blouse is more on the elegant side, however the jeggings and loafers are not just chic, but also comfy. We also fed the ducks along the river, though we didn't take any pictures of that. You'll get to see a cute selfie of us in the pictures, we did capture an amazing view in it.

Are you ready for fall? In Salzburg we had fall weather since August almost, however in the past week the weather got nicer, which is lovely for pictures and roaming around this amazing city. Todays outfit is elegant and focuses on the dark wine colour, which I love for autumn. The stockings offer an unexpected detail when you turn around, making the outfit more exciting. I find stockings with designs fun and a great way to change the vibe of an outfit, luckily you can also find them quite easy. What are your favourite colours for autumn?

I have to admit straight on that my favourite places in the InterContinental are the Imperial Suite and the spa, which you saw in the previous post.
