Initially this was supposed to be a manicure post, but since my mani is so simple I decided to incorporate some pictures from my family (orthodox) easter trip. Let's start with the manicure : I haven't had my nails in a nude polish in a really long time, which is why I went for a matte nude option. It's a pinky nude colour from OPI with the ESSIE Matt Top Coat.
We spent easter in Munich enjoying some quality family time. Sadly I got the stomach flu there, which was a bummer and totally uncalled for, but these things happen sometimes. I managed to sneak in an amazing burger before going down. Even though I didn't feel well a few days it was still lovely spending time with loved ones.

I've picked up a few new beauty products, meaning it's time for a new haul post. Since the Gucci beauty line announcement I've been dying to get my hands on it. Initially I wanted a purple lipstick, which sadly resembled too much "Rebel" by MAC, so I couldn't justify getting it. I tried to pick a colour that was missing from my collection and succeeded if I may say so myself, which is getting harder and harder. While in Milan I also got a purple lip liner by Kiko... can you feel my obsession for purple lips yet? Quite random, I picked up some nail polishes by Essie and a primer by Catrice. I don't usually wear primer, but this one had a mouse like texture and felt nice when I tested it.

Since this month is turning into a beauty month, I want to share with you my top 5 nail polishes. These are my most loved colours, that I own at the moment. I love nail polishes and doing my manicure, so naturally I own quite a few colours.
I remember doing my nails while I was in school and sharing polishes with my girl friends. At that time I didn't have a mini collection of my own, since my mother already owned the most gorgeous colours you could want. However, since I moved to Austria I slowly started my "nail polish collection". I don't really know if it's appropriate to call it a "collection", at which number does it start being one?
Anyway... these are the nail polishes and brands of nail polish that I enjoy the most. I do have my eyes on some new colours, but I don't think my top 5 will be easy to dethrone.

For the "colours of the rainbow tag" you have to chose a beauty item in each colour category of the rainbow, also adding pink. It's basically my favourite products in those colour divisions.

RED : Red is the easiest for me, a red lipstick. I love wearing red lipsticks and I'm open to any shades of red : orange-red, vibrant red, true red or dark-burgundy red, you name it I'll probably like it. However I tend to like more the reds with a blue undertone.

RED : Red is the easiest for me, a red lipstick. I love wearing red lipsticks and I'm open to any shades of red : orange-red, vibrant red, true red or dark-burgundy red, you name it I'll probably like it. However I tend to like more the reds with a blue undertone.
Since I enjoy seeing mini hauls on blogs, I decided to also share one. Let me know if you enjoy them as much as I do.
I ordered two things from MAC, which just arrived: a lipstick called Pink Pearl Pop, a cremesheen which are my favourite finish from them, and the fix+. I wanted the setting spray, because it claims to be hydrating and as I have mentioned before my skin is really dry and foundation can sometimes flake or I get dry patches. However this tends to happen with my MAC foundation as it's not targeted for my specific skin type.
The BB cream is a new product from GOSH and is the only drugstore bb cream that matches me, I am an NW15 by MAC or Alabaster 00 by Bobbi Brown. I haven't seen a lot of reviews about this product so I wanted to test it out and maybe to a review post.
The last item is a base coat from essie which is self explanatory, I had run out of my other one.
