After half a month of daily blogging, it was time to incorporate a beauty post. If you remember a few years ago I reviewed the Gosh BB Cream, which I still love and use. It's a product I have repurchased a few times now.
It's important to mention that I have combination skin, which means my T-Zone is oily and the rest is normal to dry depending on the weather, my nutrition and stress levels. Since my nose and forehead also tend to get dry in the colder months, I always thought my skin was dehydrated and dry, but was corrected by my dermatologist that it's combo and dehydrated at times. Now on to the review!
Have a pink-tastic day!
Kisses.
What is it?
Today we'll focus on the CC cream from the same brand. As I have previously mentioned, Gosh is a danish brand which was founded in 1945 and has a wide range of beauty products, including make-up and fragrance. As most foundations/BB/CC creams, this contains 30ml or 1fl.oz.US. Similar to the BB cream, the CC cream also comes in a squeezable tube, which is very handy and hygienic.
What does it claim to do?
The product is supposed to be an illuminating foundation with SPF 10, which is moisturising yet oil free.
My experience with it:
It has a lighter consistency and even lighter coverage than the BB Cream. Even though it leaves my skin smooth and hydrated, it doesn't hold as well as the BB cream. I tend to compare the two, but it helps give you a better idea about the product. If I use the CC cream in the winter time, when my skin gets very dry, it will cling to flaky bits. However, it works quite well for hot days and when my skin is more on the combination side. It's perfect for good skin days, as it evens out the complexion, but doesn't help much with blemishes or heavy discolourations.
Would I repurchase?
Honestly, even though I don't dislike the product, I'm loving the BB cream more. However, if they would discontinue that, I would gladly repurchase this one. At the moment I like having both in my collection, but find that I don't gravitate as often towards the CC cream. I've had the CC cream for more than half a year now, so it was tested in different wether conditions. Lately I've been forcing myself to use it up, since it's an ok product, but definitely not a favourite.
What I love about the brand, is that it has shades fair enough for my skin. As a comparison, I am in the shade 00 Alabaster by Bobbi Brown, MAC NW15 and Revlon 110 Ivory.
Hope you enjoyed this review! Let me know if you tried any of the Gosh products.
I have really pale skin, so this looks like a good choice for me. Thanks for sharing :-)

I've never tried anything from Gosh but I've heard some amazing things about it. I'm also very fair and it's super hard to find a foundation with my shade.
