Hi Dolls!
This post will be quite different from my usual uploads. I want to talk about a matter that happens to all of us, be it in a personal or work environment. So grab a big cup of tea/coffee and let me share my 5 tips on dealing with bad vibes.
To be honest I don't often get negative comments or remarks, however they sometimes pop up. I've said this before, but there is a big difference between positively criticising, where you're genuinely trying to help someone, and straight up nasty or mean observations. Even though I don't always accomplish to detach myself, I've improved and learned that not everyone gets a say in my life. So here are my pieces of advice for you:
1. Do NOT get sucked in or affected! I'm so bad with this one, you have no idea.
Sometimes people are mean because they are angry, without actually being it your fault. This does not justify rude ass comments. However, realistically speaking everyone has bad days, maybe in their anger they say something which they will later regret. Of course, it could be also out of jealousy or envy or just boredom. People do and say stupid things without thinking all the time, so what good would it bring you to get affected?
2. Do NOT under any circumstances respond or reciprocate!
If said person is being intentionally mean, the worst thing would be to answer. It will only bring them satisfaction and they might continue to bother you even more. Even if you think it would make you happy to make a smart remark, you're actually feeding the "evil". Reciprocating would only stoop you to their level and why would you burden yourself with the negativity?! Better grab a cup of tea to calm down and let your actions speak, this will prove them wrong.
3. Know your worth/truth!
Don't doubt yourself because of some crude remark, especially when it comes from someone who doesn't personally know you. If it's a friend or family member that are trying to help you improve and grow, they will communicate everything in a positive note without trying to make you second guess yourself. Learn to differentiate constructive observations from shabby ones.
4. Organise your time carefully!
The people you spend time with are constantly influencing you and of course you them. If they are negative persons you might slowly become like them, without wanting to. Here I'm not talking about a negativity which is directed towards you, but overall. Be mindful of your time, because you won't get it back.

5. Let go!
Even though it might hurt, sometimes it's best to just let go and move on. There's no need or place in your life for negativity. Of course if it's something that occurs in the workplace, you can't just quit. However you can choose to spend your time with more positive minded colleagues. If you're feeling sad/angry/pessimistic sometimes, don't worry, it's normal as long as you're not trying to put other's down in order to make yourself feel better.

There you have it! Hope this helps at least a little.
Have a pink-tastic day!
Kisses.

I haven't experienced such negative attitudes through me yet, and hopefully I will not! It's something that no one should ever not to do. Of course, we must be able to criticize but this must be in a positive way and must help that person improve.Kisses,

Great tips. Sometimes is hard not to respond equally, but I am trying to give yourself time before I respond. That is why I will be a little bit calmer.

These are great tips, it's hard not to get affected by negative comments but like you said, we have to keep in mind that everyone has a bad day and that it's them, not us - so we shouldn't take it personal. xx
