Food Diary #8

As you might know, I love fruits and smoothies. For this post you'll get to see what went into my smoothies everyday this week. Some of you will think these are some weird combination, but keep in mind you can adjust them to your taste. Personally I enjoy more tart smoothies, than overly sweet ones. Also think of all the benefits you get from making green smoothies and using vegetables in them. Hope you'll use these as inspiration and start juicing or making more smoothies.I drink smoothies as my breakfast and they are usually about 600 ml / 20 ounces. 

Since I've been drinking smoothies all week, today breakfast consisted of a bowl of grapes, blueberries and grapefruit, accompanied by some green tee. Feel free to share what your breakfast consisted of. 

PS: Try to buy as many fruits and vegetables organic. I'll post a picture at the end with the dirty dozen and the clean fifteen. I don't buy everything organic, but about half of it.

Monday : Banana, cucumber, lemon, ginger, pear, kiwi, parsley and spinach.
 Tuesday: Pear, broccoli, banana, cucumber, ginger, parsley and spinach.
 Wednesday: Banana, lemon, ginger, romaine salat, pear, parsley, cucumber and blueberries.
 Thursday: Banana, ginger, broccoli, pear, cucumber and grapes.
 Friday : Blueberries, grapes, pear and banana.
