Since the weather insists on being crappy, pouring rain, making it impossible to shoot outfit pictures, I decided to share my make-up of the day with you. It's a very sweet and fresh look. For the face I opted for a CC cream. Even though I have a lot of foundations, I only use BB and CC creams. They feel light and are very hydrating, so perfect for the colder months. I like to layer products to get my desired colour and finish, so for the eyes I layered two mascaras to get a more dramatic effect. From the Naked 3 palette I used the lightest shade all over the lid and a matte light brown in the crease. For the lips I combined three shades to get this glossy pinky nude colour, a "my lips but better" colour. Add a natural flush with a pinky blush, some eyeliner and we're done. Like I mentioned, easy, minimal and fresh. What are your favourite activities for gloomy days?

In todays post I'll share with you my make-up essentials for travelling. This post won't contain any skincare or cleansing products, strictly make-up. I would say I'm pretty organised and never take more that necessary, perhaps sometimes less than I should. For example I forgot to take my bronzer and a lip balm. Of course it depends on the destination and season what kind of product textures or colours I choose. If I were to pack for a beach summer vacation I would probably take a mascara, lipstick and BB cream, and barely use them. What I can say is, that I always overpack lipsticks. I'm a lipstick addict/hoarder so I like to have a lot of options. Lately, I've been better and controlled myself to only pick 3-4 shades. Anyway this is what I packed for a weekend.

Since I was traveling yesterday and had no available internet, I postponed yesterdays scheduled post for today!
I recently purchased a translucent loose powder from Catrice. I wanted to test it out, mostly for my under the eye concealer, to set it in place. I have mentioned this before, but my skin in really dry so I don't need a powder to control shine.
Secondly I have found a perfume that makes me so happy! It's from the Body Shop and it has a grapefruit smell. It's absolutely amazing if you enjoy the smell of grapefruit as much as I do, if not then it would smell obnoxiously citrusy. But hey, I adore it and it lasts incredibly well on my skin.
