A new week a new unboxing! How are we liking them so far? I enjoy filming hauls and sharing any details I think could be helpful for you when choosing a bag or shoes, or any clothing piece to be fair. There's a reason I look for unboxings before purchasing any luxury piece, and that's to get as much information possible from someone who purchased it. I also appreciate it better when it's in a video format and I can see how it looks when opening the bag or wearing the shoes. Are those the reasons that interest you as well? Are you getting sick of all the hauls or not yet? Honestly, there's more coming so I really hope you're enjoying seeing what's in stores and how certain pieces fit, in case you were contemplating getting them.
Something that has stood at the core of my personal styling, from the very beginning of this blog back in 2012, has been combining affordable high street pieces with luxury items. It's a great way to elevate your style and get the best of both worlds. I've also always encouraged staying true to your style rather than blindly following trends and I'm super proud I've stayed true to this. And I hope every time you see a post or video of mine, you feel confident to do the same. Zara is one of my favorite shops. They have trendy pieces, but also staples at great prices. Some people would argue about the quality, but if you're careful and read the label, you'll find the clothing pieces that are qualitative. They have a lot of cotton, wool, sometimes silk, you just have to be careful what you're purchasing.

If you like seeing what other bloggers buy and hear their thoughts on said item, you're going to love this week's video. I did my first luxury unboxing, which is one of my favourites to watch.
This pair of shoes has been on my mind since the model launched, but I was struggling to understand if they would be a smart decision for me. I'm talking about the iconic Blade model from Casadei, which look sexy yet sophisticated and above all, feminine. The reason why I was struggling, is that they come in both 12 and 10cm heels. The one that stole my heart was the 12cm one, but when trying them in store, they felt uncomfortable to walk in.
Since it's a luxury purchase, my logic was that they have to be reasonably comfortable and versatile, which is why I went for the 10cm version in a nude suede leather. Now, suede is quite delicate and I have to be careful not to get caught in the rain, but they are gorgeous and everyone need a nude pair of heels.

Spring is finally here! The weather is unbelievable in Vienna : it's sunny and warm.
To celebrate spring here is a Clinique mini beauty haul. This year they came out with the most beautiful blushes : they have the shape of a Gerbera flower and come in four spring colours. I went for the colour "Peach Pop" and I couldn't be more happy with my choice.
I've been a Clinique product user since forever, mostly skin care. I learned a lot about the brand from my mother. I was the kind of lucky child who always got Clinique or Estee Lauder Beauty and Skin care items. At that time maybe I didn't appreciate it as much as I should have, but now I do. I don't use just this brands, of course, but something that I always repurchase and will probably remain in my routine is the Clinique "Clarifying Lotion". I am curios to try other high end lotions, but this one is my holy grail.

Because apparently I lack control, today I come to you with another beauty mini-haul. In my defence the Naked 3 was a christmas gift, which was very considerate and nice. As you may know I was very happy the Naked 3 was coming out and planed getting my hands on it. I own the Naked 1 and I adore it, the formulation is great : pigmented, creamy and lovely colours.
The MAC pro longwear concealer has been raved about a lot this past year, many beauty bloggers consider it a holy grail item. This is the reason I wanted to try it out and since MAC does make a light enough shade for me, this item is halfway into being my holy grail concealer. I'll let you know after I test it more.
The nail polish I picked up some time ago, but didn't share it with you so I figured why not. I'm in love with the sand nail polishes from OPI, thus I got my hands on another one. Because like I said I lack some control, I already have my eyes on another sand polish.

Since I was traveling yesterday and had no available internet, I postponed yesterdays scheduled post for today!
I recently purchased a translucent loose powder from Catrice. I wanted to test it out, mostly for my under the eye concealer, to set it in place. I have mentioned this before, but my skin in really dry so I don't need a powder to control shine.
Secondly I have found a perfume that makes me so happy! It's from the Body Shop and it has a grapefruit smell. It's absolutely amazing if you enjoy the smell of grapefruit as much as I do, if not then it would smell obnoxiously citrusy. But hey, I adore it and it lasts incredibly well on my skin.

There has been a while since I did a beauty haul and I really wanted it to be longer, but apparently I lack control. I do love to shop for beauty items, but try not to go over bord and also not buy things I already own or that are dupes.
I wanted a serum for a while, so with the launch of the new L'oreal Skin Perfection Serum it was time to finally cave and buy one. I have read and heard a lot of great thing about high-end serums mostly, however thought it would be appropriate to start with a drugstore version first.
I also bought a new MAC Lipstick and a Lipgloss, which both happened to be from the Archie's Girls Collection which debuted last season. The lipstick colour is perfect for autumn and the lipgloss I just wanted to try out.
Finally I got a new body butter from the body shop, in my favourite scent : Grapefruit.
