Today is very chill, hair up in buns, cozy fluffy jumper on and comfy pink boots to the rescue kind of day. It has gotten quite cool outside and I'm trying to deal with it by wearing my favorite jumper more often than not. Also, you know what a big fan of faux leather trousers I am, so it was time to start wearing them again.
You all know I am an advocate of rewearing and repurposing the clothing items in our bursting full wardrobes, but today I want to share with you why it's actually important to do so.
1. You get your money's worth if you wear your clothes more than once or more than one season. It's the sensible thing to do, don't waste your money by purchasing trendy items that don't suit your style, because then you're not going to feel comfortable wearing them which will lead to them ending up in the back of the closet. When you invest in good quality pieces that are versatile, you get to enjoy them for many seasons to come and they are a pleasure to style.
2. Having to wear different clothing pieces multiple times gets your creative juices flowing, as weirdly as that wording sounds. Knowing that you've worn that particular item already, you'll want to style it differently which means you'll experiment more and be more imaginative. 3. Reusing your clothing means less throwing away which leads to less waste. The fashion industry has a major negative impact on the environment, so thinking twice about what you discard is becoming crucial. A lot of brands have started sourcing sustainable materials, but it's as important for us to practice conscious consumerism.

For today's look I wanted something that had an edgy cool vibe, but still was comfy and warm. I opted for a lot of leather and a fluffy sweater. The thick choker also gives the look a cool vibe and offers the perfect detail to tie it all in, while the pop of pink from the boots livens the look a bit.
Don't know why, but I associate these boots with fall. How about you?

I had a very pink and girly kind of day yesterday, so I wanted to share my outfit with you. Since the weather outside is horrifying, we took the pictures inside the university.
It's a girly outfit for the colder months, as you may know by now I like my studs, so when I saw these Mango Jeans I fell for them. They are jeans with studs, I mean "YES, please."

Hi Dolls! Happy New Year!
I decided to make the first post of this year a fashion one, since this is mainly a fashion blog and write the next one about my new year resolutions.
Todays outfit combines some of my christmas presents. I adore my new faux leather leggings, these particular ones I wanted for a while and my lovely sister got them for me. They have biker inspired details on the knees, which sadly don't show up in the pictures. However, don't worry, I do plan on wearing them a lot and taking some pictures that show the details.
The boots were an unexpected, but awesome gift. I wore them a lot since I received them. They are comfy, pink and keep me warm. I mean... how could I have not fallen in love with them? I know Timberland boots aren't everyones cup of tea, but I like them and think they are practical and chic.
The whole outfit consists of blush pink colours and the faux leather pop. I wanted a girly yet edgy look and this is how it came out.
