Empties can help get a fresh perspectives on a new product or a product you've heard about before. I enjoy watching them since you see what other beauty lovers really ended up using and if they would repurchase. In my opinion if you're willing to repurchase a product it means it was really good, otherwise you would keep on experimenting until you would find "the one".
Positive reviews are my favorite, because I believe in putting good energy in to the world, however honesty is very important. In this video you can see the products I love, which I've also repurchased, and those you were just nice or bad.
Have you used any of these? I would love to know how you got along with any of them.
Have a pink-tastic day!

After half a month of daily blogging, it was time to incorporate a beauty post. If you remember a few years ago I reviewed the Gosh BB Cream, which I still love and use. It's a product I have repurchased a few times now.
It's important to mention that I have combination skin, which means my T-Zone is oily and the rest is normal to dry depending on the weather, my nutrition and stress levels. Since my nose and forehead also tend to get dry in the colder months, I always thought my skin was dehydrated and dry, but was corrected by my dermatologist that it's combo and dehydrated at times. Now on to the review!

Today I wanted to share with you my "No make-up make-up look". Unlike other beauty bloggers I use only a few products to achieve this kind of look, or at least they seem few to me. It's all about perspective. This is the make-up I do when I want to look fresh, but don't want to fuss to much about it. Don't be fooled however, I don't wear this on a daily basis. I usually wear NO make-up, but since I have many products I want to start using my "collection" more. What is your "go to" look?

In todays post I'll share with you my make-up essentials for travelling. This post won't contain any skincare or cleansing products, strictly make-up. I would say I'm pretty organised and never take more that necessary, perhaps sometimes less than I should. For example I forgot to take my bronzer and a lip balm. Of course it depends on the destination and season what kind of product textures or colours I choose. If I were to pack for a beach summer vacation I would probably take a mascara, lipstick and BB cream, and barely use them. What I can say is, that I always overpack lipsticks. I'm a lipstick addict/hoarder so I like to have a lot of options. Lately, I've been better and controlled myself to only pick 3-4 shades. Anyway this is what I packed for a weekend.

Hi Dolls!
Haven't written a Tag in a long time and thought it would be a fun thing to do. In this tag you have to name one product, which you've been loving, for each letter of the alphabet. It can be either a brand name or just the product. It will be a mixture of skincare, make-up and random beauty stuff. Let's jump right into it.

Hey Dolls!
Todays post will be a "Face of the day : Get ready with me". This time I took pictures step by step while I was doing my make-up. I have to admit it was kind of awkward doing my make-up while taking "multi-shots" with the camera, but I think the results are all that matter.
This is my "every day" make-up, for the days that I actually wear it. The lip colour always differs, but for the face and eyes ... this is it. On an every day basis I don't really take the time to create some wonderful and creative eye look, I just use a champagne colour all over the lid and a darker crease colour for some definition.
I won't reveal the lipstick name in todays post, but stay tuned tomorrow for another mini-haul. However, I will say that as a first impression this lipstick in awesome.

Small update : I have been busy with university and that's why I haven't posted anything. I thought that instead of ignoring my blog any further, I will at least write beauty posts. As for any outfit posts... I can't promise anything. Also I have a surprise for the month of February planed, something unusual for my blog. I'm really excited about that.

Hey Dolls!
Let's talk about my top 5 beauty products of 2013, excluding skin care items. I'm going to talk about them randomly, meaning that I love them all and all have worked really well for me.
Have a pink-tastic day!
Kisses.
First I want to talk about my Gosh BB Cream, which I got at the beginning of summer. I gravitate towards this product more than my foundations. I don't wear make-up on an every day basis, but when I do, I use this as my foundation. It's the right colour, has a nice creamy texture and has a good lasting power.
This next item I had since february last year, so this shows how good it is. The EOS Lip balms are incredible, they are so moisturising and really leave your lips hydrated. I use it only at night, since it's so creamy and during the day I use a lighter one. However in the colder months I sometime use it also during the day, if my lips get dry or if I will apply a drying lipstick.
Since we're talking about lips, let's include my favourite lipstick of 2013. This was a hard one, as you may know I love lipsticks. Sadly I lost mine in Munich, but the Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick from MAC was my most loved one this year. It was a barbie pink colour, which I really like and goes so well with my fair skin tone. I'm really bummed out that I lost it, it was limited edition so I can't repurchase the exact same one. I used it as my new years eve lipstick in Munich and my Naked 3 palette for the eye make-up, the two made a really nice pair.
My favourite blush this year was The Body Shop Bubblegum, it's as you might think another barbie pink colour. It's not powdery, has good pigmentation and looks lovely on the skin.
The last item to make the cut for the top 5 this year, is a nail polish. Actually a top coat. I couldn't choose a nail polish, even though I wear them all year long. The colours that I love change based on my mood. However this top coat I have been using every time I paint my nails since February last year, so it's clearly a winner. Without further ado I present to you the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat.
These are my top 5 of 2013.
Wishing you all the best in the new year.

Hey dolls!
I decided to make this a review post on a product that I hauled a while back. I wanted to test it out a bit before doing this review, in order to be sure it doesn't break me out on the long run and also to test it when my skin isn't at it best.
What it is?
The review will be on the GOSH BB Cream. Gosh is a danish based company that does cosmetics and fragrances. They have a wide range of make-up, but this is their first BB Cream. It has a tube package which is convenient because you can control how much of the product you will need and use. It contains 30ml or 1fl oz. as most foundations do. They have 5 shades available and it retails around 14 euros.
What does it claim to do?
They say it's a foundation, primer and moisturiser. It has an SPF of 15 and also claims that it should firm the skin and reduce wrinkles.
My experience with it :
The BB Cream has a thick consistency and is really light coverage. I would use it mostly if I don't have any blemishes on my skin, seeing that it has more the coverage of a tinted moisturiser. It does leave your skin smooth and is really hydrating. What I have come to realise is that it is waterproof which makes it also perfect for oily skin, but I would suggest using some powder or bloating paper as it has a dewy finish. I don't think it would be comparable with an asian BB Cream, but for a westernised one it's pretty good.
Would I repurchase ?
Yes. First of all because it has a good range of colours and they go really light which is a must for me. I like the thick consistency and that it has light finish . If you have any blemishes , you can always add concealer , so you don't need to go heavy on foundation in the summer. For my dry skin it is hydrating enough , I even tested it out one day without moisturising beforehand and it still worked nicely.
Hope you like it and that it was helpful.
Kisses.

Since I enjoy seeing mini hauls on blogs, I decided to also share one. Let me know if you enjoy them as much as I do.
I ordered two things from MAC, which just arrived: a lipstick called Pink Pearl Pop, a cremesheen which are my favourite finish from them, and the fix+. I wanted the setting spray, because it claims to be hydrating and as I have mentioned before my skin is really dry and foundation can sometimes flake or I get dry patches. However this tends to happen with my MAC foundation as it's not targeted for my specific skin type.
The BB cream is a new product from GOSH and is the only drugstore bb cream that matches me, I am an NW15 by MAC or Alabaster 00 by Bobbi Brown. I haven't seen a lot of reviews about this product so I wanted to test it out and maybe to a review post.
The last item is a base coat from essie which is self explanatory, I had run out of my other one.
Hope you like it.
Kisses.
