2020 in pictures

2020 hasn't been the year we hoped for and quite frankly it was pretty bad, especially mentally for a lot of people, including myself. Nonetheless, I tried to find the best in certain situations and keep it positive. Did I succeed all the time? Of course not. I had some really bad lows, but whenever they would pass I would try to regroup and be grateful for all the amazing things in my life. Please know your feelings are valid and 2020 has been really hard, allow yourself to feel whatever you need to, just come out stronger.

The pandemic isn't over yet, but here's to hoping things will get better soon. Keep being strong and try your best to focus on whatever positive you can find. The smallest things can change your whole mood, like a delicious cup of coffee or a seeing a dog on your walk or indulging in comfort food or a meme from your bestie. Remember to also reach out to your friends, especially if you haven't heard from them in a while. They might be going through a depressive episode due to the current situation. Be there for them and support each other, even if it's just virtually.

Here's my 2020 in pictures with captions, hope you enjoy it.

Have a pink-tastic day!

Kisses

Started Jan with gym sessions, oblivious to what was coming.
Visited my bestie in Feb, life still seemed normal and amazing.
One of the last outings at the beginning of March.
Beautiful sunsets in lockdown.
Worked out a lot until May and saw results, which helped me mentally but shortly after this I stopped working out and started eating loads of comfort food.
Tried to appreciate the views on my walks, but started feeling depressed after being alone for 4 months.

Started drawing again in July.
After being close to both a burnout and breakdown, I decided to be with my parents and it was probably the best decision I made in 2020. Went to the mountains to get fresh air and some perspective.
Also visited the sea side and was starting to feel more like myself.
And then I decided to change my look and opted for an asymmetrical short bob. My hair hasn't been this short since 2012.
Thanks to local laws, was fortunate to meet up with my girl friends for drinks.
As well as celebrate family time.
Visiting the Peles Castle was also a beautiful experience.
Things seemed to be going better, so I returned to London in September and stayed until the end of November. Once again, I decided to come back to my parents and in December got to enjoy the first snow. While I'm not a fan of cold weather, I love snow and this made me so happy.
Family time has been very beneficial and I'm grateful for the time spent with them.
