Garnier Hydra Bomb Review

The Garnier Hydra Bomb is a super hydrating and energizing mask that has been incredibly hyped, which made me very curios to try it out. Before a ten hour flight, I decided this was exactly what my skin needed.

As we all know, the filtered airplane air is dehydrating and not the best for your skin quite frankly. This is why I always like to apply a moisturizing mask the night before. This way my skin can survive the fight, be it two hours or ten hours. Since this masks claims to be incredibly hydrating, I put it to the test. If you're curious how well it performed, keep scrolling.

Have a pink-tastic day!

Product Description:
This tissue mask is a super hydrating and revitalizing mask created for dehydrated skin. It claims to offer one week's worth of serum in one use. The Hydra Bomb mask claims to leave your skin healthier, smoother and bouncier looking. The main ingredients are pomegranate extract, hyaluronic acid and plant serum.

My Experience:
First thing you should know is that this is a very wet mask, like dripping wet and a bit slimy feeling. When I first opened it, I was afraid it wouldn't stay on my face. In fact, the whole 15 minutes I kept checking if it was sliding off my face. To my surprise it stayed put the whole time.

I did feel a slight tingle, which may be because my skin was lacking moisture. It also felt cold, which surprised me. Because I didn't know what to expect and kept trying to be aware of any signs, it wasn't the spa-like relaxing experience I imagined when seeing other people talk about this.

As for the fit, it is a bit big, so I had to fold it at the corners to make it work. It isn't anything that  bothered me, just wanted to give you a heads up.

After removing the mask, I noticed that my skin was looking radiant and felt hydrated. It even felt smoother and the texture on my skin was almost undetectable. The cold sensation stayed with me for a bit, but there are 36 degrees in Milan, so I didn't mind. With a cotton pad I pated the extra liquid in my skin and on my neck.

Overall, I have to say that I am impressed and would definitely recommend this mask. I intend to make it my go to before flights.
