Beauty Goodies : Review

Hello Dolls!

Today I'll write a review on the Lime Crime Opaque Lipsticks.

Have a pink-tastic day!
Kisses.

What is it?
Lime Crime is a company founded in 2008 by the style icon Doe Deere. It's a vegan and cruelty free make-up company. They are best known for their opaque lipsticks and velvetines. The opaque lipsticks come in 18 shades.

What it claims to do?
They claim to be bold, opaque and "recklessly loaded with pigments". They have really bold colours like mint, yellow, black and blue. Today I'll review the two colours I own : Great Pink Planet and Geradium.

My experience with it :
I have to admit they are really opaque and bold. With one swipe you get the full intensity of the colour and they are almost neon-like. The smell like the MAC lipsticks, so like a sweet vanilla scent. The package is also very similar to the MAC one, but a little bit bulkier. They have the gorgeous sparkly unicorn, which makes it more special, especially with you are a sucker for pretty packages like most girls are. It's really creamy and feels good on the lips, it didn't "bleed out" on me.

Geradium lasted on my lips all day, even though I ate. Of course it rubbed off but stained my lips and left a gorgeous more toned out shade of the colour. Great Pink Planet also stained my lips, but didn't faded as uniformly and nice looking. The only con for me is that they are so hard to take off. I tried with make-up remover and had to really exfoliate my lips in order to achieve it.

Would I repurchase?
Yes. I love the colours and the texture of the lipsticks. For me this is enough to learn to work with the con. I think that make-up remover intended for waterproof make-up will work best.
Here you can see both colours on my lips. :D
