Todays post will be a review on the Illamasqua blush that I hauled last week.
Hope you like it.
What is it?
The review will be as mentioned on the powder blush from Illamasqua . Illamasqua is a british brand which does a wide range of cosmetics, from foundation to nail polishes. They also have their own line of brushes. The Blush retails around 24 euros.
What does it claim to do?
They say it illuminates and enlightens the complexion.
My experience with it :
I absolutely love it! It's very pigmented, they have a wide range of colours : from really doll like to natural and dark shades. The blush is really finely mild and really soft to the touch, it swatches beautifully.
However it has a down side : it is really powdery. The first time I swirled my brush into it, it got all over the place, but I did notice that with every use it got better. When I tried it in store it didn't "fly all over". Perhaps it was the first layer of product. So it is something to consider when buying it.
Would I repurchase ?
Most definitely! I love the colours, pigmentation, the way it feels on my skin. It doesn't cling to any dry patches! I already have my eyes on two other colours. I am willing to work with it because of the quality, it doesn't bother me to much that it's so powdery.
