Fall Trends: Feminine Leather & Butterum

I have to say this whole fall series is extremely enjoyable and is expanding my styling sense. It's helping me view all of the trends in a more open way and with an eye for styling, always thinking which trends would go with my style and how to combine them together. Today's two trends are feminine leather and the color "butterum", however I also incorporated the satin trend we discussed last week.

Fall Trends: Pink & Metallic

This has been the year of pink. We've seen it everywhere in spring and summer and now it's going to continue it's reign in fall. Another trend that is back and taking over quickly is the metallic trend, especially silver as we've witnessed in catwalks. It's going to be a fall of colors and excitement! Fall Trends: Waist Belts

The next trend that we're styling and having fun with is the "Waist Belts" one. They are back in style ready to cinch you in, offering a bit of structure, style and pop to your outfit, not to mention their functionality. You can opt for leather, pleather or soft fabric belts, depending on your needs and wanted effect. They can be a statement piece to an otherwise simple look or they can help you transform a vest into a dress, like I opted for. This is one of the easiest and fuss free trends, since you can also add it to your coat and be done with it. 

As mentioned, I chose to use it transform a vest into a dress, though don't worry, I was wearing shorts underneath. It also helped define my shape, since the vest has a straight cut. I went for a girly structured style, but I can imagine it with feminine ruffly pieces of edgier ones, looking just as good.

Fall Trends: Oversized with feminine & Satin

We're slowly approaching autumn, well some of us are already in autumn if you live in London, so it's time to gradually transition to a fall wardrobe. To celebrate fall and all things cozy, I decided to start a fall series where I style this year's trends while sharing them with you. This will make me more creative with my style and also give you ideas what to wear as the weather gets chillier. Make sure to let me know if you enjoy this concept and if you would like to see more similar content.

We're starting with two trends in one. Who's excited? Just me? Hopefully not. Two huge trends for this fall season will be mixing oversized fluffy jumpers with feminine skirts and satin material. For this look I combined the two by choosing a satin like skirt as my feminine skirt. I adore this one because it doesn't only look chic and flattering, but it also keeps you nice and cozy as it gets cooler. The oversized jumper offers warmth that protects you from the wind, but you can still rock those awesome summer skirts prolonging their life. 

Also, how amazing is this location? I'm in love!

Brighton Look of the Day & Travel Vlog

Like I promised, here is my vlog from Brighton. You can see the charming streets we explored and the cute little restaurant and tea place we ate at. Floral Dream & Casadei Pumps in Brighton

This outfit is the epitome of romantic summer styling. The soft floral mixed with the ruffles, crochet details, nude pumps and bag compliment each other fabulously. It has to be one of my favorites of this summer. Every time I wear this dress I feel so feminine and playful. Because of the midi sleeves and midi length, it also a nice transitional piece. I can already imagine it with a leather jacket draping on my shoulders and boots, it would give a pop of edginess, but you'll have to wait for that one. 

We took all the pictures in Brighton, which we visited for the first time yesterday. Since the moment we discussed visiting, I knew this would be the perfect outfit to shoot there, so I kept it for this occasion, thou I have worn it on several times already. It was a charming city, so picturesque and romantic. I will definitely visit again. Tomorrow I'll share a mini vlog from the delightful city.

New in Fall Wardrobe

One of the biggest adapting challenges, so far, has been the weather. Coming from the Milanese 36 degrees to London's 14-20 degrees has been tough, but it inspired me to start forming a better fall wardrobe and also to view my clothes in an autumnal vibe. 

I thought it might be fun to do a "New in" post featuring my latest purchases for autumn. The advantage of this weather is that I can start wearing boots and I love me some boots. It's also a good pretext to buy more pairs, hence these new babies in my wardrobe. They have a midi heel and are leather boots with rubber sole, which is perfect for rainy environments. Another "new in" item is also this knitted dress. It will keep me warm and stylish, while feeling comfortable. The Bvlgari bag adds a pop of color, contrasting with the dark shades of the dress and boots. It lightens the outfit and makes it a bit playful.

To new beginnings in London

Deciding to pack all your belongings and move to another country is always challenging and stressful. The unknown is scary and sneaks up on you with many insecurities, like "will I fit in? will I make any new friends? will I find my dream job?". It's never easy to take fate in your own hands and just go for it, however while you may never know how things end up, it's so satisfying to try. The rush of starting over fills you up with motivation and happiness.

Last day in Paradise Look

I can't believe we're at the end of my Dominican Republic outfit posts, it's been wonderful sharing my looks and spreading positiveness over the past month. Soon I'll be sharing a very exciting news with you, make sure to come back on Monday for that. 

Until then, this last outfit combines white and navy in both my look and background. I actually shot it on purpose here, because I liked how matchy matchy it all was. It's kind of silly, but it made me smile. 

Since the moment I tried these pants on I fell in love. They are the perfect summer pants, thanks to the light fabric, white color, comfortable and incredibly flattering cut. Though the fabric is flowing, they have structure and can be styled for both work and leisure time. The lace crop top hangs lovely on the body and styles extremely chic with the pants. This color combination just screams summer.

Empties with Mini Reviews

Empties can help get a fresh perspectives on a new product or a product you've heard about before. I enjoy watching them since you see what other beauty lovers really ended up using and if they would repurchase. In my opinion if you're willing to repurchase a product it means it was really good, otherwise you would keep on experimenting until you would find "the one". 

Positive reviews are my favorite, because I believe in putting good energy in to the world, however honesty is very important. In this video you can see the products I love, which I've also repurchased, and those you were just nice or bad.
