Bell Sleeves & Chambray Shirt Layering

You wouldn't think we're in spring from the weather in the past few days. Milan has been gloomy and like previously mentioned, a flu/cold has been going around. Happy to let you know, I'm feeling better and despite the moody weather, have finally taken new outfit pictures.

Now, the weather may be gloomy, but I'm not, so I wanted to add a pop of pastel with my chambray shirt. Since it was quite chilly outside, I layered a crochet bell sleeved blouse underneath the chambray shirt. The crochet and bell sleeves offer a summery vibe. For the lower half of the outfit, I opted for my trusty office trousers and dark green booties. Since the ankle boots are a quite dark shade, they are easy to style, even though they aren't a neutral color.

My favorite thing about this outfit is that it's elegant while having personality, but it's also quite effortless. It incorporates trends and summery elements, but it's my style. The best part? It's all styled with pieces that were already in my wardrobe. I love styling old/staple pieces in a fresh and new way.

I was in a creative mood and tried a bohemian inspired hairstyle with this look. It's a mix of french and fish style braids with waves.

What do you think?

Society imposed Perfection

What is perfection? By definition perfection would be something that is flawless, beautiful, simply excellent, but would you know what to think it's perfect if society or media didn't influence you 24/7? We all have different perceptions of "perfection", depending on our upbringings, homeland and social interactions.

At this point you might be wondering what has gotten into me? Well, you don't know this about me, but I've been passionate about lookism since I was introduced to it in Uni. I even wrote a 15 pages paper about it. Lookism is the discrimination based on someone's appearance. For anyone new here, I studied Cultural and Social Anthropology in Vienna. Another unknown fact about me, I've loved writing since I was a teenager. However on my blog, I slowly stopped writing long posts because a lot of people simply don't read, they just look at the pictures, but after all, this is my little corner of the internet and I should be able to express my opinions. Not saying they are right or wrong, just mine. Now, back to the main topic.

You will notice there are two pictures almost identical. In one the camera made the soft skin effect, while in the other it didn't. Honestly, this wasn't planed, it happened. At first glance looking at the pictures it was clear that the first one was better, so I asked myself why is that? After comparing them a bit, the answer was obvious: because one was featuring me with flawless skin, no freckles, no redness, no lines, just perfect smoothness. Not very real though. Society tells us that in order to be a beautiful woman you have to be perfect, to have flawless skin, small waist, but large chest and bum and so on.

This might sound crazy, but do you know I've disliked my freckles since forever? I've even been bullied for having them. From a young age I've used different creams that promised to rid me of them, which btw never worked. The crazy part is that people are now getting them tattooed on their faces. Even though at 25 I thought I had finally accepted my skin as it is, when confronted with the possibility of "flawless" I immediately saw that as more beautiful.

This isn't the case of someone discriminating me, it was me, which is worse. You know how they say your mind is your biggest enemy?! This isn't a dramatic post and I'm certainly not fishing for compliments. We are all different and beautiful! The important thing is for me to be happy with myself, which is something I've been working on for the longest time. We all work on this and we all have different characteristics we don't like, it's just the way we were made. The point is that the perfection the media, influencers, models are showing isn't always real.

Moral of the story: Try to be your best version, not the copy of someone else. Also, what you see in the media or on Instagram isn't always the truth.

If anyone has been wondering where I've been the past week, you could call it a forced break. Sadly, I caught a flu and had a high temperature, which meant no pictures, just rest. Hopefully I'll be back soon with outfit posts.

Have a pink-tastic day!

MAC Lipstick Collection

Welcome back my lovelies!

How is your week so far? Mine has been quite lovely! For this week's video I wanted to share my MAC lipstick collection with you. If it's a small or big collection depends on your own perception, but I think it's a nice round-up. I love lipsticks and collect them. For me they are the one make-up item I can't go out without, even without any other make-up on, I love using a lip product.

In the future I also plan on filming a liquid lipstick collection,  but was wondering if you would love to see it?

All Black Spring Look

Spring is all about pastel colors and romantic hues, but what about the girl who likes wearing all black no matter what season it is? Why should she feel less "springy", just because she doesn't enjoy pastel shades? Today's post is for all of my fashionistas who enjoy rocking an all black look all day everyday!

Except the pastel colors, the most important characteristics in a spring look are the fabrics. As soon as the weather gets warmer, everyone is wearing flowing pieces and crochets. From the pictures you see that I opted for a crochet blouse with bell sleeves. The bell sleeves aren't just trendy, they also give movement to the look and for a touch of "badass", I added a faux leather crop top underneath. The bottom half consists of a light fabric pair of culottes and fishnet stockings. As you can see I combined different trends and vibes to create a more complex look.

The crochet, flowing fabrics and bell sleeves offer the spring elements needed in this outfit, while the faux leather crop and the fishnet stockings give it character.

What do you babes think?

Sonia Rykiel Autumn/Winter 2017 Fashion Picks

Fashion month has been over for a while now, but there are still so many collections that inspire me still and I want to keep sharing them with you. This way they can also motivate you and get you energized for the week. This week it's the Sonia Rykiel collection and the first ensemble is truly my favorite. The structure, the bell sleeves, the ruffle, everything! As always I browsed the Vogue archive.

Striped Summer Dress & Converse Chic

Let's all take a moment and do a mini dance for the weekend, but also for Milan. Today there were 25 degrees!!!, which meant wearing a dress with no tights. The warm weather brings me immense happiness, it may be silly to some people, but it brightens my day.

Of course in honor of this summery day I wore a SheIn striped dress with sleeves, because let's not get too crazy or wrapped up in this temporary warmth. As you can see it's blue and white colored, which is a classic summer combination. The bow detail in the back gives a cute look, while the loose fit offers comfort. Wearing this dress only reinforced my love and excitement for summer, but also made me wish I had a tropical vacation planed. To add a cool factor I paired the dress with my Converse sneakers and a ring choker. Though it took my a while to jump on the choker bandwagon, they are still a favorite.

Excited for the weekend?

Romanian Food Taste Test with Matteo Fumagalli

Crazy hair and constant laughing sums up this video. I had so much fun filming this and you can really see my bubbly personality in this video. Matteo had never tasted Romanian food, so it was quite interesting and fun to see him react to different dishes. I love Romanian food, of course, but if you're curious to see his first reaction press play!

Boho Festival Outfit + 5 Tips

While I may not be attending any festivals this season, a festival outfit was needed. On this happy Monday, I'm sharing my take on a festival look and what I would wear if given the chance. Not saying this would be a practical look, but it's stylish.

1. One of the most important things when attending a festival is to protect yourself from harmful sun rays, so a hat was an essential for this look.

2. My skin is quite fair, so I would easily burn under the sun all day, which is why my dress of choice covers my shoulders and a good part of my arms.

3. Of course you should also apply a high SPF no matter how fair or dark you are.

4. As you can see I added a jacket, this would come in handy as the night comes and it gets chillier. Now, the heeled boots aren't exactly practical, so if you're not comfortable with heels opt for a flat footwear.

5. Don't forget to keep hydrated!

This pretty SheIn dress has scalloped details and is made of suede, so paired with the hat and over the knee boots it creates a boho look. Festivals give me a very boho vibe, which is why I would opt for a bohemian inspired outfit.

Are you attending any festivals?

Color-blocking & Scalloped details

Scalloped details embody such femininity and give a romantic vibe to any outfit. When combined with the edgy harness detail, they pop even more. Almost like the two wouldn't work, but they blend excellently. Since I was going for an edgy vibe, I combined the SheIn top with faux leather pants and leather boots. The cat-eye sunglasses add a playful layer and so do the color-blocking cardigan and boots. This isn't full on color-blocking, since the colors aren't complete opposites, but they still contrast with the black.

Who's happy for the weekend?

Changing it a up today and sharing a different type of haul. Usually on my blog and Youtube you see fashion and beauty hauls, so many of you might not know, but I actually love reading books. Normally I buy novels and light reads, however lately I've been thinking about getting some motivational books. After contemplating which to get, I finally ordered some. Of course I had to share them with you!

The purchased books are:
Digital Leader by Erik Qualman
The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey

Preppy - Sporty - Happy

What's the most important accessory one can don? Well, a smile of course. One that is genuine, letting the happiness shine through.

Wondering what makes me happy? No?! I'll let you know anyway. The small things, like sporting a simple cute outfit or feeling precious while wearing new earrings. Today's look is relaxed and simple, exactly what is needed on a Monday. The top has delicate ruffled sleeves offering a romantic preppy vibe to the look, while the Superstars are sporty with a chill vibe.

My earrings are from the lovely Happiness Boutique, a Berlin based brand. I opted for a pearl drop style that looks sophisticated yet modern. Like I've previously shared, they carry lovely designs at affordable prices. Fun thing, they a reward program and bi-monthly giveaways. In case you're interested, the sweet girls at Happiness Boutique offered me a 10% discount code for you guys, just use carinavardie.

While the earrings were gifted, I only share my genuine opinions and don't gain anything from the code.

Winter Favorites Collaboration

A bit late, as this video should have gone up yesterday, but now that spring has officially arrived I'm sharing a Winter Favorites video. This video is in collaboration with a lot of lovely girls, which are all linked in my video.

In case you're noticing something weird about my hair, you're right. It's pink! If you follow my Instagram, you would have seen the stories of me coloring it with the new L'oreal Colorista Washout. It was quite fun and I love the outcome. Also got another color, one that is bolder, so if you want me to do a demo. please let me know.

Louis Vuitton Bag & Nike Sneakers in Milan

My mum was visiting over the weekend, which meant strolling trough Milan for hours and taking pictures in all my favorite places. I only shot one outfit, because it was nicer to enjoy her company and talk. I know you understand and don't mind. I did however post a tone of InstaStories, so you can follow me there if you would like to. There was a lot of walking involved, 11km per day to be precise, so my outfit selection needed to be comfy, but still cute.

Since showing you this bell sleeved open back shirt, I wanted to wear it and this was the perfect occasion. The blouse is trendy and adorable, yet easy to wear. The white and blue striped matched perfectly with my white Nike sneakers and sunglasses, while the scarf combined blue elements from the shirt with the black jeans, tying it all together. The Louis Vuitton bag adds a feminine touch with its muted color and cute design.

Bell Sleeves & Cold Shoulder in sunny Tuscany

We've come to end of the Tuscany looks. These pictures were taken in Siena, just like the last ones. This was my second time in the Tuscany region, but the first time visiting Siena and San Gimignano. As you would expect, it was beautiful, the food was delicious and the wine incredible.

The last outfit combines a white SheIn dress, that has bell sleeves and cold shoulder details, with over the knee boots and faux fur vest. It would also work with a cotton or any light fabric vest, but styling the dress with a vest, lets you highlight the cold shoulder details, which is what I was going for.

I will say that since it's a white dress, without any extra slip or lining underneath, you have to be careful while in the sun. In the city I would recommend wearing it with either vests or a slip underneath. However, imagine how cool it would look with a neon bathing suit at the beach!!!

Which was your favourite look from my Tuscany week?

Tuscany Lookbook

After spending time to style this look and being proud with myself, I presented myself in front of my boyfriend who had the sweetest reaction. No, just kidding, he had the worst! He asked me if I was ready for bed, which got him a very confused look. Of course, I asked what on earth was he trying to pull, so he informed me that I was dressed in pajamas. Initially I laughed, then kicked him for mocking my well thought outfit.

I'm not one to usually mix patterns, but was feeling courageous, so I paired this SheIn blouse that has both Gingham and stripes with my thick striped palazzo pants. The look is playful, stylish and not a pajama, though it was just as comfortable to wear.

Hope you enjoy the lookbook. The pictures from the first look are already up and the last look will be published Friday!

Everyday Glam in Medieval Tuscany

This past weekend I've been traveling to different cities in Tuscany and one of them was San Gimignano. The small town has kept the medieval architecture making it a magical place to visit. It's fascinating to stroll and see it in all its glory.

For my outfit I chose an elegant dress styled in a bohemian-edgy way, paired with a wool floppy hat, leather jacket and boots. The idea behind was to make it fun to wear during the daytime. Of course that got me a few odd stares, but it's too pretty not to style during daytime. You might have seen this SheIn dress in my last haul. It has ruffly details and velvet dots, not to mention the fun flowing skirt.

After walking through the whole town and buying all the cheese, I had the amazing idea to visit the torture museum. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen the stories shameless plug. It was unsettling to say the least, but also interesting to see.

Would you wear this look?

Faux Fur Vest & Liquid Metal Shoes

Just as I was getting exciting that spring is here, it started raining for two days. However that didn't bring me down, as it was the perfect opportunity to style a new piece in my closet. The faux fur vest doesn't only provide warmth, but also chicness to a look. To be honest, I've been on a hunt for the perfect vest this whole winter, if not since last year, but couldn't find one that had the desired texture and look, while being accessible in price. This isn't sponsored by the way, I purchased it with my own money!

The grayish purple colour made me fall in love with the vest, but the model is what got me hooked. The rolls, we'll just call them that, provide texture and definition, which a lot of other vest models lack in my humble opinion. For the first time styling it, I opted for a simple look that wouldn't distract from the star of the show. Though it's hard to distract from this fluffy gorgeousness. The liquid silver shoes compliment the vest perfectly, while adding a pop of something special. Underneath the vest I added a faux leather jacket, but a blazer, coat or even a knit would look fabulous. Everything else was very minimalist, a black turtleneck blouse and black jeans with a slit at the knees.

What are you looking for in a faux fur vest?

5 Tips to survive the flu

Don't you just love how I'm starting this new month on such a positive note?! I mean, can you even? ahaha No, but for real babes, it wasn't planed to start like this, but sadly I have the flu. Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I decided to share some tips to help you, in case you have the flue or feeling down for whatever reason.

I don't know about where you're living, but in Milan everyone seems to be sick, I swear everyone in my office had the flu. I was lucky enough to avoid it until now, but apparently saying I'm super heathy and won't get it made karma slap me in the face with some flu. To provide even more entertainment, I filmed these tips. So in case you want to see and hear me ramble on have a look, would make me super happy, but I'm also sharing them in writing. Also, in the video there are three extra tips for you!

Comfy Chic with a bit of Fishnet tights

Coming up with different ways to style fishnet stockings is quite fun, this is the third week in which I'm dedicating an outfit post to them. Until now they were the star of the show, however they can also be worn subtly while adding an interesting vibe. They are barely visible, yet still catch your eye.

This outfit is very laid back and comfy, combining trousers and a fluffy turtleneck sweater. As you'll notice, I rolled the trousers higher to make the fishnet tights more visible. For a pop, I added my snake statement ring, but also this new coat.

From far away you would think it's just a simple black and white tartan coat, however if you look closely you'll notice the blue line running through it. You guys know how much I love simple/minimal pieces with unexpected yet special details, so this had to be mine. Not just because of the colourful surprise, but also because that colour happens to be teal. It was made for me!

What do you think about this look? It's very me when I want to dress up simply and comfortably.

Metallic Skirt & Bell Sleeves

Spring is so close you can smell it in the air! Nature is slowly starting to bloom again and the fashion choices are getting lighter and cheerful. To make things more fun, I'm sharing today's look also in video format.

Like I mentioned while styling this skirt the first time (here), pleated skirts are very feminine and romantic by nature, so in order to create some contrast, I styled it in a sporty way.

Blue Roses & Bow Mules

A few weeks back I shared a "Style Inspo" all about mules, so it was time to share an outfit wearing the fabulous shoe trend. To be fair these aren't actually mules, they're a pair of statement sandals (wore them also here), but I put the strap inside. Before you ask, they were quite comfortable as mules, not to mention they also complimented the outfit quite beautifully.

If you recall, in my last post of January I shared a layered look with a bandage crop over a dressy shirt. Since layering is so much fun, today I layered a floral dress over a dressy shirt creating a spring look.

This dress is quite old, it survived all of my closet clearings, because I still love it, even if I rarely wear it. It has to do with the fact that my favourite flowers are blue roses and as you can see this dress is full of them. So, if you ever want to buy me flowers, definitely go for blue roses.

What's you favourite flower?

Fishnets and Space Buns

Mother Nature has been incredibly generous with Milan, offering a full week of sunny and warm days. A bit of wind from time to time, but overall it felt like spring is almost here. Hopefully this won't jinx it, because I'm most certainly getting addicted to the warmth of the beams on my cheeks.

Fishnet stockings had a bad reputation until a year or so ago, but now they're the perfect detail for some edge, transforming a simple look into something sassy. Last week I shared a look pairing them with a skirt and I hope to bring you even more looks on how to style them in different ways.

Don't you find it funny how I blend in with the window shop in the background? That was not intentional!

Today's look pairs fishnet tights with culottes and pumps. Keeping it simple, I added a crop top and a grey coat to top it off. Accessories wise, I opted for dainty golden rings and a choker with gold ring. You'll notice the pumps also have gold details. To brighten up the look, I added a teal clutch. For something a bit different, I styled my hair with two braids that end in space buns.

Happiness in Gold Tones

Today is all about happiness! The sun was out for a couple of moments, which meant I managed to shoot a few pictures for you. I've been dying to share a look with this metallic pleated skirt. Pleated skirts are by nature very feminine and romantic, but with a little bit of creativity they can also be sporty or edgy. To give it an edgy vibe I styled it with fishnet tights, a choker and leather jacket. To make it look more casual, I added a pom pom hat and a loose fitted shirt. Put all the elements together and it transforms the elegant pleated skirt into something more relaxed with an avant-garde element.

Back to happiness! Let's talk about my gorgeous rings from Happiness Boutique. The boutique carries beautiful designs and qualitative products at affordable prices, not to mention they come in the cutest packaging. This is a german brand born from the wish to spread happiness and inspire people. I mean...who doesn't love a brand with a lovely philosophy?!

The two rings I'm rocking are rose gold plated titanium and as you can see they have a minimalist and chic look. I've been obsessed with the evil eye ring (clickable links at the end). Sadly the wrap one is a bit too big for me, but I still wanted to show it to you. Another fun thing is their reward program and bi-monthly giveaways, which you should definitely check out when purchasing. The lovely girls at Happiness Boutique also offered me a 10% discount code for you, my beautiful readers, it's carinavardie, so make sure to use it when purchasing.

While the items were sent to me, this isn't a paid post! These are my genuine opinions, I do not gain anything from the links!

Preppy in the Rain

The weather in Milan has been very photography unfriendly this past week, so it was time to get creative and start styling around my rain boots. These are very simple riding boots ( bought them on a site specialized in horse riding gear), so they are quite easy to style. In really bad lighting you might even confuse them with elegant leather boots. The slick aesthetic made me fall in love with them.

For a change of pace, this weekend we decided to visit a museum and found out there was a Manolo Blahnik exhibit in Milan. I literally squealed and annoyed my boyfriend into going, God bless his soul for putting up with me. 😹 In case you happen to visit Milan, the exhibit is on until April and I really recommend it. Most of you won't know this about me, but I wanted to be a shoe designer. It was my favorite fashion piece to design and the one I was good at. Anyway, I posted a lot of Insta stories, like always, so in case you don't follow me on Insta, you should. Click here to remedy that. Shameless plug, I know.

Outfit wise, I'm still incorporating summery pieces in my winter wardrobe. This time pairing a white jacquard dress with a black dressy shirt, tights and rain/riding boots, let's not forget the pearl choker for a touch of edgy elegance.

If the rain keeps up, you'll be seeing more of these rain boots. It's a fun challenge to show you can be stylish even in unfavorable weather conditions.

What's your go-to shoe choice when it's pouring rain?

Sunday Style Inspo

Slip dresses were the 90s must have, that have returned and have been ruling our streets since last year. We all know to well that fashion tends to repeat itself!

The slip dress carries this name because of the resemblance with an underslip. As an undergarment it deputed in the 1940s, having the chore of keeping warm and preventing your intimates of being on display. As the 1970s came, designers started to incorporate the slip in their garments and people well out of love with the underslip. However it was reinvented in the 90s because of its seductive appeal and now, after tossing it aside for a few years, we fell back in love with this flirty silhouette. Today I want to share some cool slip dress inspirations.

What I Eat in a Day + Workout

For this week's video I prepared something a bit different. I love food and cooking, so you're going to see a typical day. Well...not that typical, because I'm also doing a workout, which is very rare these days.

I would say my meals are quite balanced, they include protein, veggies and carbs. The stuffed pasta shells are a bit naughty, but that's why they're filled with homemade ragu, to make me feel a bit better about devouring that cheesy goodness.

To make it enjoyable for the people who don't love food as much as I do, there is also a bit of Milan sightseeing included.

Hope you enjoy the video! Please subscribe!

Bell sleeves & Bandage layering at Golden Hour

Layering is the absolute best, don't you think? It's still freezing cold outside, so still hard to be fashionable. At least I find it quite hard to come up with fun outfits during the winter time, I just want to bundle up in my blanket and never leave the bed. That might be a bit extreme, but you get the point.

For today, I layered a bandage crop top over a shirt dress. The vibe of the whole look is feminine, but edgy thanks to the leather details, which is how I like it. Of course, when trying a similar style in the winter time, you need to layer leather pants underneath the dress to keep you warm. If you don't like leather pants, go for leggings or really thick stockings.

To be honest, when envisioning this look I had a few concerns about the end result, but it turned out quite chic. The bell sleeves add a trendy layer, seeing how this year is all about the statement sleeve.

What are your thoughts on layering crop tops over blouses?

Sunday Style Inspo

Today's inspiration is meant to get you in the mood for the upcoming fashion weeks and to inspire your outfit choices for the events you might be attending. In case you're not attending any, to inspire you to be a bit extra in this period.

You'll notice there's a theme going on through this post, all the pictures involve either flowing materials or ruffles or both. The selection contains feminine-romatic cuts, with a few edgy details, which is exactly how I would define my style.

Are you excited for Fashion Week?

5 Tips for a Baby Face

What is a baby face? Well let's take me as example, very narcissistic I know! but, as you can see in my bio I'm 25 years old, yet look like a 15 year old. No joke, I've been told this week I look like I'm 12! Now, while it's quite clear I don't look like a 12 year old, you wouldn't guess my age.

Hope you enjoy this post and keep on reading!

Bucharest Vlog

It was finally time to show you around Bucharest and it was the perfect timing, since it looks like winter wonderland. You're joining me on a walk through the park and a car ride through the city. For those uninterested in traveling, I also added my outfit. Though it's just me snuggled in 100 layers of fluff to keep warm, because winter wonderland is gorgeous, but also freaking cold! There were -8! I know, I know, there is worse. In my defense I was arriving from Milan where there were 8 with a + this time.

Hope you enjoy this vlog! Please subscribe and give it a thumbs up if you would like me to film other vlogs.

Sunday Style Info

One of the biggest trends of 2017 is going to be the statement sleeve. We saw it start in 2016 and we'll experience it get even bigger this year. This is quite a fun trend, which let's you play with your style. Imagine a very simple base with a statement blouse, which makes the whole outfit look fashionable with almost no effort. Aren't those the best?! and since it comes in so many different details, it's easy to find something you love. This includes also statement shoulders, so depending on your comfort level, you could go super statement or just in a subtle way.

What do you think about this trend? Looking forward to styling it?

Pink & Grey in Winter

Pink & grey has to be one of the prettiest colour combinations! Together they create this soft romantic vibe that lifts your spirit, not to mention it sets a spring vibe. To be honest it's still freezing cold, even if I'm dreaming of spring and summer, which is why I'm bundled up in layers and layers of  fluffy clothes.

Pairing dresses with over the knee boots is one of the easiest ways to wear your pretty dresses when it's cold outside. Just layer a cami under and a jumper over, then another layer with the coat and the final one is the blanket scarf. For extra warmth add thick stockings, which is quite easy if the dress overlaps the boots. And there you have it, warm and chic in winter!

Though let's be honest, we all have days when we just layer everything we can find in our closet in order to keep warm, without caring about the cute and stylish factor, which is also ok.

As previously mentioned in my 2017 Goals video/post, this year I want to have a better skincare routine, so I went shopping for some new skincare products. Since I was already buying those, I went on and got a bunch of other products. As you can imagine, went a bit overboard! Today I'm going to show you all of the goodies I purchased.

Let me know if you want me to do any reviews!

Layered Coats

I have expressed my dislike for puffers in my winter essentials video, after which I kept thinking how to keep warm while staying stylish. It just came to me, what do we all adore the most in winter? Why of course, LAYERING!

In this look I layered two different styles of coats. Starting with the military coat, which is a soft statement pieces on top of which I draped a grey structured coat. You may think that it sounds uncomfortable to layer two coats or wondering if it really did keep me warm. To be honest, it was quite comfortable and cozy. Layering outerwear is a fun way of playing with different pieces in your wardrobe and staying warm without a puffer.

When trying this, keep in mind the :
  • cuts you're combing
  • colours and patterns
  • different textures
  • different lengths
All of these points could make of break your look, though it's your style, so there is no right or wrong. That's just it about style, it's personal, your way of wearing clothes and expressing yourself through them.
