The best part of this time of the year are all the pretty colourful leaves, which make everything look more beautiful. Today's look is cozy and features my new sweater. What made me fall in love with this sweater, besides the fluffiness, was the bow detail on the sleeves. In autumn and winter I like to keep warm and comfy, yet chic, so the smallest details make the biggest difference. By tying in the bows they create a bell sleeve effect, which has been extremely trendy but most importantly fun to wear. Be warned, I plan on wearing this sweater to death. ahaha
One of the easiest and chicest way of styling a slip dress in fall, is to pair it with a turtleneck underneath. Turtlenecks are elegant and timeless, while the slip dress is trendy. The combination of the two offers the turtleneck a touch of modernity and elevates the slip dress, all while keeping you a bit warmer. To finish the look I added my new green ankle boots, which have been my autumnal obsession. They have a 10cm heel so they elongate my look, but are comfortable to walk around with, not to mention how fashionable they are.
You've probably followed the rise of the fashionable backpack from the beginning and today I'll share some inspiration. They have been especially trendy this year and you can find them everywhere from Chanel, Gucci, Fendi to Zara, Topshop or Forever21. The smaller it is, the cuter it looks, but you can find one in almost all sizes. Some are more elegant and classy, while others are fun or edgy or feminine. Basically, if you love backpacks, now is the time to get one for every possible mood.
I've been kind of MIA lately because of my job and the bad weather, however before Black Friday starts I wanted to share an outfit.
Now, who said you can't wear pastel details in autumn-winter? Though the colours of the skirt are usually considered summery, paired with dark colours and boots it looks more autumnal. They help brighten the outfit. As you can see the whole look revolves around this artsy skirt, which I paired with green boots and a black turtleneck.
When Romwe contacted me for a collaboration, I was excited to search for a cute item to style and this skirt was exactly what was missing from my wardrobe. They are also having a Black Friday Sale with up to 80% off and Cyber Monday Sale with buy one get one 90% off. Did that peak your curiosity? Just click on the highlighted texts.
For today's look I wanted something that had an edgy cool vibe, but still was comfy and warm. I opted for a lot of leather and a fluffy sweater. The thick choker also gives the look a cool vibe and offers the perfect detail to tie it all in, while the pop of pink from the boots livens the look a bit.
Don't know why, but I associate these boots with fall. How about you?
It's been way too long since my last video, more than I would have liked, but today I'm back with a fall look. Still keeping up with the oversized theme that we started Sunday. As always you can enjoy this one in both video format and pictures. Please do subscribe to my YouTube channel for more videos and tell me what you think about this one.
After sharing some oversized inspirations yesterday, it was only fit that today's outfit incorporates this trend. You can basically wear anything underneath an oversized coat, but I committed to an all black outfit. It looks polished and elegant, yet trendy.
Underneath the oversized coat I wore a black mini dress with a turtleneck blouse on top and over the knee boots. You can see a bit of skin, but it's still warm and autumnal. To make the outfit pop and a bit more fun, I layered a few necklaces.
The only thing I had to worry about was the wind and not loosing my coat, as I draped it over my shoulders. Thankfully it went smoothly. I am a big fun of draping clothing over my shoulders, but have to admit it's easier in spring and summer.
On the last Sunday Style post we talked about one of this seasons biggest trends, velvet. Today we're going to take a look at another huge trend, which is oversized wear. It looks especially cool when it's outerwear and I'm going to share different inspirations today.
Fall is perfect for wearing rich colours and what better one to choose than red? Though, let's be honest, red is perfect for any time of the year. On this pretty yet chilly day, the best outfit is comfy yet chic. The look is simple with gold dainty details, very minimal chic.
I love the sweater weather that is implied once fall arrives, but it's hard to part with all the pretty summer dresses, which is why today's look is all about using summer pieces in autumn. We all know florals are huge every summer, nothing surprising or groundbreaking about that, but they can also look cute in fall, especially when used as a detail.
Wanting to use a floral dress as a detail, I layered a fluffy sweater on top to keep me warm and to give the look a fall vibe. To cover a bit more, while still looking stylish I added everyone's beloved over the knee boots, which are again very trendy this year. Over the knee boots are seriously a dream, they help you wear short dresses/skirt/shorts even when the weather has cooled.
