Tower Bridge - Last OOTD from London

After a short break from my London Travel & Fashion diary, in which I posted a Zaful post and a Home Tour video, I'm back with the last outfit from London. On the last full day we visited Tower Bridge and Tower of London. London was a wonderful destination and I fell in love with this city. Hopefully I'll visit it again soon.

What was your favourite look from London?

Video: Home Tour Milan 2016

For this week's video, I decided to film something different from my normal content. Last time I shared a home decor post, it was really well received and since we moved again, it was time to share the chosen decor for this new flat. If you're curious, here is the last decor post. Similar to last time, I'm sharing pictures along with a video in order to cater to any wishes.

Trendy with Zaful

Hello gorgeous Dolls!

Today we're talking about trendy pieces and I'm sharing two different looks with you. Firstly I want to talk about the shirt dress, which has to be one of the most versatile pieces you can own, well you know except a multiway dress. It can be worn as a dress, be it sporty paired with Superstars or edgy with boots or elegant with heels. However you can also wear it as a blouse with jeans, like I styled it today or with a skirt. Today I tucked half of it in my jeans and slid it off the shoulders revealing a strapy bralette.

I was recently contacted by Zaful and after scrolling through their site, I fell for all the trendy pieces they offered at affordable prices. Shopping at an affordable price is the perfect way to test out the new trends and it's also a great way to play with your style.

For the first look I chose this embroidered shirt dress and this cute bralette. The sparkly bird details are what made me choose this dress, because embroidered details are all the rave right now and they offer a pop to the outfit, since the sparkles catch the eye.

Hipster Fun Camden

A fun and unique place to visit in London is Camden Town, which was filled with pubs and cute little restaurants, but also a mix of vintage, funky and quirky shops. It was different from the atmosphere in central London, would definitely recommend visiting it.

Now, can we acknowledge how majestic this unicorn is? I mean, just look at it! I simply had to take my pictures next to it. For the first time in a while, my look is a bit colourful combining a tartan shirt, which I wore backwards creating an open back. It offers a flirty vibe in a subtle way. To finish off the look, I paired it with these silver statement shoes.

Have you visited Camden Town?

Video: London Lookbook

Hello Dolls!

After a month of absence from the YouTube world, I'm finally back with a London Lookbook. Since most of you seem to prefer the video accompanied with pictures, I included pictures and links to the  outfits.

I tried to incorporate clips of London, not just the outfits, so let me know what you think about this format. Do you prefer it or do you like it to be strictly OOTD?

Geometric See-through in London

This has to be my favourite look that I wore in London. It's all black, which shouldn't come as a surprise, but it has geometric and see-through details, which make it pop. The silver statement shoes make the look special and fun. If you pay close attention to the details, you'll see the taupe line on the shoes which match the bag perfectly. Of course that was planed to tie in the look. For accessories I went minimal with a choker and dainty bracelets. This just proves wearing all black doesn't look boring.

I took the pictures on Baker Street and in Notting Hill, which were some of my favourite places to visit and a high priority on my list. The pretty white and colourful houses make Notting Hill a dream neighbourhood. To be honest I fell in love with it and would love to live there. I'm sure there are a lot of you with me on this one.

Would you love to live in a perfectly cute London house?

Sunday Style Inspo: LFW

Another major Fashion Week has started and of course I'm talking about London Fashion Week, which delights us with unique creations. I chose my favourites, which include minimal, romantic and funkier styles. Everything looked delightful, but which were your favourites so far?

Like last time, I browsed the Vogue archives, which is where I got all of the pictures. Everything is linked, so you can go and check all of the collections out.

Preppy in London

This past week I've been happily visiting London and having a blast. It was my first time in London, so of course there were a lot of attractions and strolling involved. Having seen London through the eyes of other bloggers, vloggers and family members, I already knew how beautiful it was, but it still enchanted me.

On the first day, we went to Big Ben, Westminster, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace and all the way to Hyde Park. It was quite a walk, but very enjoyable since there were so many locations to admire. Quite untypical for London, the weather was extremely hot, which I wasn't entirely prepared for, but welcomed anyway.

For my first look, I opted for a preppy style with dressy shorts and blouse, paired with petrol blue ballerinas and clutch for a pop of colour. I planed all of the outfits to be stylish but comfortable, since there was a lot of walking involved.

Have you visited London?

The internet at the hotel was awful, which is why there was a lack of posts. Hope you don't mind too much! This is also why I'm posting on a Saturday, which wouldn't usually happen. The schedule will be back to normal: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

White lace dreams in Como

Today's pictures were taken in beautiful Como, where I decided to wear a semi elegant outfit consisting of a white dress and royal blue loafers. I know in USA there is the rule of not wearing white after Labor day, but I don't live there and fashion rules are meant to be broken anyway, right?

As you can see the dress has beautiful lace detailing from the neck to the chest and on the back, dropping in a low v. This detail makes the look a bit flirty. For even more playfulness, I added my silk neck scarf.

Do you wear white after Labor Day?

Playful Look with Minnie Buns

Fashion Month has officially started, as you all probably know. In New York first, will be followed by London, Milan and Paris. It will be my first time in Milan during Fashion Week and while I don't have event invites, sadly, I look forward to attending events open to the public.

To celebrate the start of fashion month, I decided to create a playful slightly edgy look. Most of the playfulness comes from the hairstyle, which is meant to look like Minnie ears. Quite fun to wear and it surely got a lot of looks. The back of the crop top offers a kittenish vibe, while the skirt gives a feminine effect. The edgy details are in form of a choker and boots. All of the details help create a complex outfit, even with the minimal appearance.

Statement shoes & Culottes

Like I mentioned in this outfit post, I decided it was time to include some statement shoes in my collection and these were love at first sight. As a pair, these sandals create a giant bow, looking very chic and sweet. They were surprisingly comfortable to walk in, though I have to say all my Zara heels are comfortable. Don't understand why nobody is talking about Zara shoes. My heels from them are easier to walk in than my Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, which cost a whole lot more.

If you follow any fashion blog or read fashion magazines, you would have seen the rise of the culottes. Since I'm only 165/ 5'4", I always thought culottes will make me look even shorter, which stopped me from purchasing any pair. Finally decided to give them a go and have a quick tip for anyone who has the same concern.

TIP: Before investing in a pairs or if you just want to make your palazzo pants more versatile, try pinning them shorter with safety pins. Be very careful not to hurt yourself in the process!!! If you don't feel confident doing it yourself, ask a friend or parent for help.

To complete the look, I added a white off shoulder blouse, duo-coloured clutch and of course, a choker.

I think this outfit would even be pretty for Fashion Week. What do you think?

Back to school in Miu Miu

A little late to the party, as most bloggers have already shared their back to school looks, but in case you are still in school and looking for some inspiration, this is for you. Of course be careful to respect the dress code.

The weather in Milan is still quite hot, which is why I opted for a pair of dressier shorts instead of something longer. The blouse has beautiful embroidered and ruffled details. I'm not in school/Uni anymore, but if you are, opt for a cute backpack instead of a bag. Another tip would be to keep the jewellery dainty, don't want to catch the eyes of the professors in a bad way. The perfect shoes for school are comfy ones, like slip ons, ballerinas or sneakers. Slip ons can look elegant and fun, making the outfit modern and modish.

Which is/was your go to school look?
