Boho Off Shoulder at Sunset

We have finally come to the moment where I'm sharing my favourite look from this Sicilian vacation, well you know except this one. It's possible you'll remember this dress from my birthday wish list post. My sister kindly gifted it to me and I absolutely love it. It's fun, easy and flowing, but most importantly off shoulder, so of course it had to come on holidays with me. What I also love about it, is that it's comfy but stylish.

We shot the pictures are sunset, which gave this soft light and romantic vibe. What do you think about the look?

Video: What I eat in a day: Italian Holiday

Welcome to a new video my loves!

Today I'm sharing what I eat in a day. This will be different from my usual "diet", because I filmed it in Sicily. To make it more fun, I filmed this on the day we went on a fishermen's boat trip. If you don't like fish this may not seem as appetising, but for those of you who love fish know that it was very tasty!

Pastel Off Shoulder & Lace Shorts

Hope you are all starting this week relaxed and happy! For today's post I'm sharing another holiday outfit, wearing this pastel blue off shoulder blouse. Not only is this blouse off shoulder, but it also has bell sleeves. How cute is that?! If you remember I shared another look featuring this one a while back, wearing it as a normal bell sleeved blouse.

This time I paired it with lace shorts and this yellow colour-blocking clutch, to add a fun pop of colour! As you already noticed, most of my vacation wardrobe was off shoulder, fun, flirty and most importantly, comfy. I knew there would be 35 C degrees, so I wanted flowing and breeze pieces.

Summer Holiday Essentials / Must-Haves: Top 5

Hello Dolls!

Instead of the usual "Sunday Style Inspo" or "Food Diary", I decided to write a summer vacation essential post. Because I know a lot of people choose to take their holidays in August, this is the best time to share these with you. To keep it short and sweet I'll share my Top 5.

Striped Romper in Sicily

This is one of my favourite looks I wore on holiday, I have two, in case you were wondering, and the second one will be on the blog next week. The combination of skin tight with flowing pieces make this romper very flattering and entertaining to wear, not to mention the stripes which make it very appropriate for summer and the sea side. Though honestly I wear stripes all year round and not just at the sea or lake.

This will sound very silly, but the whole time I was wearing this outfit, I felt very model like with my fabulous romper. Don't know why, but it was just giving me good vibes. It could also be the sugar high from too many pastries and too much gelato or the fact that I was at the sea, but either way I loved wearing it.

Summer Lookbook Video

Hey Dolls!

While on vacation I decided to film a lookbook video sharing some of my outfits. Since Favignana, the Sicilian Island on which we were, was so picturesque, it made for the perfect background. The combination of the looks and landscape make this a lovely video to watch, in my opinion.

I also played and experimented a bit more with the editing, which I hope you'll like. Since I'm still in the learning process, I haven't found my editing style yet, but I tried to make it fun and enjoyable to watch.

Some of the outfits were already posted on my blog and the rest will come in the next posts.

Let me know what you think about the video!

White Lace & Navy Shorts by the Sea

Lace has become a theme this vacation, because of the romantic and feminine aspect it gives to an outfit, not to mention it adds texture. It makes a look more interesting and fun, without any effort. What I adore about this crop top is the mix of texture and cut. As you can see, it has different patterns and lengths of lace. Since it was super hot outside, I added some shorts, a pair of sunglasses and my loafers. Loafers aren't ideal for this weather, but they went well with the look, so I endured the heat.

The colour of the pictures hasn't been altered at all, the water did look that spectacular. Even though it was hot as hell and I felt like melting while taking the pictures, I couldn't stop admiring the sea. The turquoise/aqua blue colour was mesmerising.

All white Outfit : Off shoulder & Lace Shorts

The second outfit from my vacation lookbook/ posts is an all white one, as it's perfect and very chic for summer.

Before we get into the look, I need to tell you guys that these are the comfiest shoes ever. I bought them last minute not thinking they would be comfortable, but knowing they would match with some outfits for the trip. You have no idea through what hell we had to go through to get to this lovely spot and I did all in high heels without breaking my neck. Afterwards we also walked till and through the town centre, all while being perfectly happy with my outfit decision. This isn't a sponsored post, I just thought it's nice to share the amazingness of these with the world.

I decided to keep this all white playing with different cuts and textures making it more interesting and fun. Of course I opted for an off shoulder blouse, because you know me... it's my current obsession. The lace shorts are feminine and offer a romantic touch, but also have a different texture creating a complementing visual effect.

On my last post a lot of you complimented my "long" legs, so I wanted to tell you a little trick. Sadly I don't have such long legs, I'm only 167cm or 5'4 ( I think), but my boyfriend takes the pictures from a bit lower creating the visual effect of longer legs. This all started because he's taller than me and when he would take pictures standing straight, it would make me look very tiny. Being the good sport that he is, he understood my point and started taking my pictures from lower, though he still needs reminding sometimes. Thank you for your kind comments, I always read them and they make my day!

Lace Off Shoulder & High Waisted Shorts

I'm in total vacation mode while on summer holidays on a Sicilian Island, so today I'm bringing you my first holiday look. As you'll be able to see in the next few posts, I tried to pack items that match together in order to mix them up without overweighing my luggage.

The weather has been extra hot, so except sunglasses and bags you won't see me wearing any accessories such as necklaces or bracelets. I feel like they just stick to me and heat up, which isn't cute.

Although I packed make-up, nothing will go on my face on this heat except SPF and lipsticks. When I made my luggage, it made sense to pack a few make-up bits. I really don't know what went through my mind, seeing as there are like a bajillion degrees here and I'm trying not to melt.

Anyway, the piece de resistance in this look is the lace off shoulder blouse, which is feminine, delicate and fun. I matched it with extra high waisted red shorts and my iridescent sandals, which colour doesn't get picked up by the camera, sadly. I did my best to make this an exciting look without accessories and I hope you enjoy it.

Sporty Palazzo Pants

My obsession with palazzo pants is so real that after sharing my birthday look, I started thinking of other fun ways in which to wear them. To change it up from the last look, I went for an athelisure style pairing the pants with sneakers and a slouchy open back t-shirt which I tied in the front. Because this particular white shirt is very see through, I added a crop top underneath for a delicate detail. To complete the look, I opted for the boxer braids hairstyle.

Neck scarf and Ruffles

This outfit is what happens when you can't decide if you want to be living la dolce vita or be edgy, so you just mix the two and fall in love with the result. Today I just felt like styling this dress in a new way rather that elegantly, while having fun and though it's very simple, I adore it.

Yes, it's summer and I'm wearing all black, but I added a colourful scarf so it's totally appropriate. Neck scarves have made a comeback this season and I can't wait to play around with them a bit more. Also, how cute do these ruffled socks look with the booties?!

Californian Vibes in Milan

Today I felt like playing with my style and trying something slightly new. Though I love the Boho style, I rarely dabble in it, which is why I decided to experiment a bit.

It was a bit cooler in the morning, so I went for booties and a hat with a cute baby pink flowing dress.  I couldn't help myself and added a studded belt for a bit of edge. The outfit was really fun and it almost felt like adopting another personality. Even my boyfriend noticed that it isn't my usual style, but liked it.

I really enjoyed rocking it all day. Also, for the first time ever, people talked to me in English instead of Italian which was weird, but also cool. Last time I wore this dress it was in a cutie girly way

What do you think about this Californian inspired boho look?

Il Ponte di Christo

Il Ponte di Christo or The Floating Piers was a concept created by Christo and Jeanne-Claude in 1970. In 2014 Christo found the Lake of Iseo perfect for his vision, where he shared the project with the world this summer between 18th of June and the 3rd of July. As always the project wasn't sponsored, it was paid by the artist. Christo and Jeanne-Claude have always refused sponsorships or grants. They created works of arts that inspire beauty and happiness, which they keep free to the public with no visitation fee.

It's truly magnificent what Christo managed to do. While walking on the piers you get the sensation of walking on water, especially when you walk barefoot (with socks). It's quite a unique feeling of the waves, similar to being on a boat but way more intense as you're closer to the water, yet softer because you don't have the weight and structure of a boat.

The view is breathtaking, especially when you find yourself in the middle of the lake, but also looking at it from a higher point on the island. At the beginning it was a bit cooler, which was perfect but as the day progressed it got hot as hell, however it was a marvellous and fun experience.

Have you heard about the project? What do you think?

Happy 4th of July!

Food Diary #35

Welcome my dear! Please have a look around and join me for today's foodie post. Do you love food? This might make you hungry.

I try to eat healthier when I cook, incorporating a lot of veggies. I'm the kind of person who really enjoys eating her vegetables, of course depending what they are and their preparation. As you can see my homemade food is very colourful and nutritious. However, this isn't always possible while eating out. Not because restaurants don't heave healthy options, but because as much as I enjoy healthy food, I also love naughty treats. It's all about balance, right?! Hope you enjoy this post!

Floral Look in Lecco

 Happy 1st of July!

We've now entered the second half of this year and I find it unbelievable how fast time has flown by. I'm very happy for managing to blog everyday until my birthday in June, with a few extension days. It was challenging and unusual for me, but also a lot of fun and I got to share a more diverse content.

Do you have any feedback for me from the month of June? Did you enjoy everyday posts?

Today's outfit is floral, flowing and fun. The 60's inspired neckline cut of this dress is what made me fall in love with it. The sweetheart line is very feminine and flattering. The dress is very comfortable yet chic, which makes it perfect for summer. Today were 34 Celsius degrees, so about 94 Fahrenheit, which is HOT if you ask me. To be honest I love and prefer the hot weather. I spent the first part of the day exploring Lecco and taking outfit pictures.
