New Year's Eve Hairstyle Inspo

There's something that couldn't miss from the "New Year's Eve Inspo" series and that's a hairstyle inspiration. Personally I like to go for either curled or braided styles, because they are easy to achieve and look elegant. A fun alternative would be glitter hair or a combination of both.

Which is your favourite hairstyle?

New Year's Eve Make-up Inspo

After taking care and choosing the perfect outfit, it's time to create the perfect make-up look to compliment the look. Some like full on glamour with fake lashes and tons of highlighter, while others adore a more natural glam version. The inspiration starts from the most natural to the full on glamour inspiration.

Personally, New Year's is the time to wear fake lashes and add all the highlighter I have. Will I look like a disco ball? Definitely and very happy about it! Highlighter just makes me happy. While my make-up won't necessarily be the most glamorous, it will surely be glittery and luminous.

How will your make-up look be?

New Year's Eve Outfit Inspo

New Year's Eve is the best time to wear all glitter and sparkle. It's the time for glamour and over the top, fun looks. However, not everyone has the same taste, which is why today's inspiration includes different styles perfect for this occasion.

You can look festive and glam in sequins, but also in lace or velvet. Not everyone enjoys dresses, so you'll also find outfit inspirations including pants and jumpsuits.

Have you decided your New Year's outfit yet?

Real Winter Style

This is going to be a very realistic winter look, which contains layers and is quite minimal, you could say it's my winter uniform, though the shoes change if it gets even colder. I would love to live in a country that's always warm, well I think I would. If that would be the case, I would probably miss the sweater weather and snow.

The way to make your winter outfits less boring, especially if you like wearing all black like I do, is to mix textures and play with lengths. As you can see I've mixed faux leather pants with metallic shoes and a ribbed blouse. The cardigan is asymmetric and the blouse has a swing form. All of these details combined make the look charming. After all, it's all in the details.

What do you actually wear in the cold weather?

Sparkels & Bows

What are you going to wear this Christmas? Will it be red or golden, sparkly and cute? Maybe you're not in the mood for something that festive, it's not a crime. Not everyone is into the same styles.

This outfit is my take on a monochromatic Christmas look. Just because it's all black, it doesn't mean it's not eye catching. The sparkles from the blouse offer a festive feel, while still looking polished. One of my fashion obsessions of this year have been the palazzo pants. They look gorgeous on everyone, not to mention how fun they are to style. So, I had to choose them for an elegant holiday outfit.

The look is sophisticated yet festive and comfy, which are the three important properties any Christmas outfit should have.

Sunday Style Inspo

What gets you in the Christmas mood? Is it the carols or maybe the movies? Perhaps it's the hot chocolate or the mulled wine, or maybe all the baking? Could it be the decorating of the house and tree?

For me it's the gift shopping and well, all of the above. Christmas is so special because I know that no matter what or where, I'll be with my family. Living in different countries can be difficult at times, especially when you're as close to your family as I am, but I can always count on the big holidays to see them.

Today I'll share some lifestyle inspiration to get you even more in the christmasy mood.

Hoodie Dress & Pom Pom Hat

The colder months are made for snuggly and fluffy outfits, at least in my opinion, which is why my latest looks have been just that. This one is no exception. Today's look features a hoodie dress and pom pom wool hat. Underneath the dress I actually wore a long sleeved blouse and faux leather leggings to keep me warm. Of course, the final touch are the over the knee boots.

The important lessons to take from this post are that you can look chic in cozy outfits and to always layer in order to keep warm. I'm one of those persons who would suffer in the cold for a cute style, well I would complain quite a bit, but would still do it. However, getting sick afterwards isn't cute nor fun, so just take some extra minutes when planing an outfit to think how you can layer something warm underneath or over it.

Waterfall coat

Even though it's been getting incredibly cold lately, there still are some sunny warm days and for those rare days there's nothing better than a stylish coat. During this time of the year it's hard to dress up cutely without freezing, so the best way to stay chic is with the help of coats. The one I chose is a waterfall dark nude one from Shein. It's not quite a statement one, but still looks trendy.

What do you think about waterfall coats?

Luxury Gift Guide

Nothing says I love you like a luxury Christmas gift. Of course not everyone loves luxury items or can afford them, that's perfectly fine. A gift that comes from the heart is more precious than anything, it doesn't matter how much it costed. This Gift Guide is for those who love to buy or just dream luxury.

I would also like to remind everyone, that even though receiving gifts is fun, donating for the less fortunate is amazing. If you can, try donating old clothes, toys or even buying food for shelters.

Sunday Style Inspo

Anime buns and Fluffy sweater

Hello December! Can't believe how fast this year has flown by, pretty sure we're all thinking about this at the beginning of December. Anyway, we'll reminisce another time.

Similar to my other autumnal looks, this one also involves a fluffy sweater, which happens to be another new find. I paired it with a dress, over the knee boots and a leather jacket on top. To make the whole outfit cuter, I did two buns which made me feel a little bit like an anime character, so that was fun.

I will say it would have been smart to add some tights for extra warmth. If you take inspiration from this outfit, please keep that in mind, so you won't be cold.

Happy Fri-yay! Any big plans for the weekend?

Video: Autumnal Chic

The best part of this time of the year are all the pretty colourful leaves, which make everything look more beautiful. Today's look is cozy and features my new sweater. What made me fall in love with this sweater, besides the fluffiness, was the bow detail on the sleeves. In autumn and winter I like to keep warm and comfy, yet chic, so the smallest details make the biggest difference. By tying in the bows they create a bell sleeve effect, which has been extremely trendy but most importantly fun to wear. Be warned, I plan on wearing this sweater to death. ahaha

Slip dress in Fall

One of the easiest and chicest way of styling a slip dress in fall, is to pair it with a turtleneck underneath. Turtlenecks are elegant and timeless, while the slip dress is trendy. The combination of the two offers the turtleneck a touch of modernity and elevates the slip dress, all while keeping you a bit warmer. To finish the look I added my new green ankle boots, which have been my autumnal obsession. They have a 10cm heel so they elongate my look, but are comfortable to walk around with, not to mention how fashionable they are.

What do you think about slip dresses in autumn?

Sunday Style Inspo

You've probably followed the rise of the fashionable backpack from the beginning and today I'll share some inspiration. They have been especially trendy this year and you can find them everywhere from Chanel, Gucci, Fendi to Zara, Topshop or Forever21. The smaller it is, the cuter it looks, but you can find one in almost all sizes. Some are more elegant and classy, while others are fun or edgy or feminine. Basically, if you love backpacks, now is the time to get one for every possible mood.

Romwe Artsy Skirt

Hello beautiful Dolls!

I've been kind of MIA lately because of my job and the bad weather, however before Black Friday starts I wanted to share an outfit.

Now, who said you can't wear pastel details in autumn-winter? Though the colours of the skirt are usually considered summery, paired with dark colours and boots it looks more autumnal. They help brighten the outfit. As you can see the whole look revolves around this artsy skirt, which I paired with green boots and a black turtleneck.

When Romwe contacted me for a collaboration, I was excited to search for a cute item to style and this skirt was exactly what was missing from my wardrobe.  They are also having a Black Friday Sale with up to 80% off and Cyber Monday Sale with buy one get one 90% off. Leather and Fluffiness

For today's look I wanted something that had an edgy cool vibe, but still was comfy and warm. I opted for a lot of leather and a fluffy sweater. The thick choker also gives the look a cool vibe and offers the perfect detail to tie it all in, while the pop of pink from the boots livens the look a bit.

Don't know why, but I associate these boots with fall. How about you?

Oversized Coat

After sharing some oversized inspirations yesterday, it was only fit that today's outfit incorporates this trend. You can basically wear anything underneath an oversized coat, but I committed to an all black outfit. It looks polished and elegant, yet trendy.

Underneath the oversized coat I wore a black mini dress with a turtleneck blouse on top and over the knee boots. You can see a bit of skin, but it's still warm and autumnal. To make the outfit pop and a bit more fun, I layered a few necklaces.

The only thing I had to worry about was the wind and not loosing my coat, as I draped it over my shoulders. Thankfully it went smoothly. I am a big fun of draping clothing over my shoulders, but have to admit it's easier in spring and summer.

What do you think?

Autumnal Pop of Red

Fall is perfect for wearing rich colours and what better one to choose than red? Though, let's be honest, red is perfect for any time of the year. On this pretty yet chilly day, the best outfit is comfy yet chic. The look is simple with gold dainty details, very minimal chic.

Styling Florals in Fall

I love the sweater weather that is implied once fall arrives, but it's hard to part with all the pretty summer dresses, which is why today's look is all about using summer pieces in autumn. We all know florals are huge every summer, nothing surprising or groundbreaking about that, but they can also look cute in fall, especially when used as a detail.

Wanting to use a floral dress as a detail, I layered a fluffy sweater on top to keep me warm and to give the look a fall vibe. To cover a bit more, while still looking stylish I added everyone's beloved over the knee boots, which are again very trendy this year. Over the knee boots are seriously a dream, they help you wear short dresses/skirt/shorts even when the weather has cooled.

Culottes in Fall

As we all know, culottes have been the "it" pants this year. They have gotten in our hearts and now it's hard to abandon them just because fall is here. As luck would have it, culottes make for great transitioning pieces.

Firstly because they come in different materials, which means you can find a pair that's warmer. Secondly they pair amazingly with boots. This might not be for everyone, but they look quite chic paired with a skin tight pair of booties. Depending on your mood and outside temperature, you could either choose an ankle boot, for extra trendy points opt for velvet or patent, or a longer pair so there is no skin showing.

For today I styled the latter. For extra warmth and coziness, I wore a sweater and oversized leather jacket on top. Oversized outerwear is another of this seasons trends, so feel free to steal your boyfriends clothes this season.

Do you like culottes styled with boots?

Sunday Style Inspo

Today I want to talk about one of this fall's biggest trends: Velvet. This is a trend that has made a comeback from the 90's and you can find everything in the luxe material, from chokers to dresses to shoes. My personal favourites are the heels and skirts.

To rock this trend you can start by adding just a velvet choker or if you're feeling bold and want to go all out, wear a full velvet look. Here is some inspiration to get you motivated to start styling this cool trend.

Office Style with my Blades

Continuing with the office attire posts, this one is a bit more elegant than the previous, but still on the casual side. As you can see, this time I opted for a blazer over my dressy shirt, which I draped over my shoulders. Is that practical? Of course not! Does it look cool? You bet! The casual element comes from the light wash jeans.

To be honest I styled this whole outfit around my new babies, the Casadei Blade pumps. Since filming the unboxing it became a mission to style them, however the weather has been quite gloomy and as you know, they are suede. This means they are more delicate and need to be kept away from the rain. Because of the shoe style and lower heel, they make for a great office shoe option, wouldn't you agree?

Would you wear this or is it too causal?

Office Outfit with a Twist

If you've been following for a while, you'll know my favourite outfits are chic yet comfy. Today I wanted to style an office look with a sporty twist. To achieve this, just go for sneakers instead of heels or ballerinas and a fluffy slightly oversized pullover instead of a blazer. The base consists of the suit pants and dressy shirt, but this way it's a bit more comfy and smart casual rather than elegant.

Pairing suit pants with sneakers is a cool new way of wearing the pants. If you want to make the look even more casual, opt for an oversized T-shirt instead of the dressy shirt.

Also, look how pretty all of the colourful leaves are!

Would you wear this at work?

Bows and Cold Shoulder with SheIn

When I saw this blouse, I fell in love with it. It's girly, trendy and because of the oversized feel, it's also very comfy. I like that it has a bit of ruffles and how it flows, not to mention the movement  definitely makes it more fun. SheIn is a very popular site, which I've known for years now, so when they contacted me for a collaboration I was very happy. That being said, these are my honest opinions and as always, the pictures don't lie.

Speaking of pictures, the ones on the site make the blouse justice, as it's exactly as you expect it. When shopping online, there is always a risk of receiving a piece of clothing that doesn't resemble the site's pictures. This happens especially when you shop from affordable sites and it's something I'm always concerned about. I'm happy to report that this wasn't the case. Of course, it's not silk, so the quality you get is the one you pay for. The parcel arrived within 10 working days, which was great and although it's a one size, it fits nicely.

To create a contrast, I paired it with faux leather pants, which offer a slightly edgy feel. However, I still wanted the look to be predominantly feminine, so I finished it off with my oversized bow heels. These statement heels compliment the blouse perfectly.

Have you ordered from SheIn until now?

Sunday Style Inspo Chanel

One of my favourite luxury brands is Chanel, just like a lot of other fashionistas out there. Last week, the world was blessed with the latest collection, which is where we took todays inspiration from. Scrolling through Vogue's archive, I picked my favourite pieces from the show.

Of course and as always, tweed was present, but transformed into modern pieces. The collection has lace, silk, tweed and flowing chiffon, all in fun colourful designs. Karl Lagerfeld described the collection as being "intimate technology".  I highly recommend watching the show video.

Lazy Day Outfit

As you've probably noticed, in the last year I've tried to share more fun and creative outfits with you, but everybody needs a lazy day outfit that still looks chic. So today I'm sharing my tips on achieving a lazy day outfit. Well, it doesn't have to be just for lazy day, it also works for when you're feeling unwell or just can't be bothered.

In such cases, I like to feel comfortable while still looking cute. Here are a few tips:

Video: Luxury Unboxing: Casadei

If you like seeing what other bloggers buy and hear their thoughts on said item, you're going to love this week's video. I did my first luxury unboxing, which is one of my favourites to watch.

This pair of shoes has been on my mind since the model launched, but I was struggling to understand if they would be a smart decision for me. I'm talking about the iconic Blade model from Casadei, which look sexy yet sophisticated and above all, feminine. The reason why I was struggling, is that they come in both 12 and 10cm heels. The one that stole my heart was the 12cm one, but when trying them in store, they felt uncomfortable to walk in.

Since it's a luxury purchase, my logic was that they have to be reasonably comfortable and versatile, which is why I went for the 10cm version in a nude suede leather. Now, suede is quite delicate and I have to be careful not to get caught in the rain, but they are gorgeous and everyone need a nude pair of heels.

Would you like to see more unboxing videos in the future?

Emerald Slip Dress

Slip dresses have made a strong comeback, but it took me a while to get on board. Not only because of the sleepwear feel, but also because slip dresses aren't very forgiving. What do I mean by that? Well, they will embrace your body and show everything, good or bad. For example, a skater dress hides the belly and chinches the waist or a dress with ruffles on the top part creates the optical illusion of a larger chest area and the list goes on.

However, when I first tried a slip dress, something shifted in my perspective, I felt confident and loved how it flowed and "hugged" my body. Yes, it shows me as I am, but why would that be bad?! It's not like usually I'm hiding my body. In the future I'll try different styles with the slip dress.

Slip dresses are delicate and elegant, so to add an edgy touch, I paired it with a leather jacket, boots and choker. I layered a delicate necklace with the choker, creating more contrast between the feminine and edgy elements.

What do you think about slip dresses? Have you tried one?

Trendy with Zaful

Hello gorgeous Dolls!

Today we're talking about trendy pieces and I'm sharing two different looks with you. Firstly I want to talk about the shirt dress, which has to be one of the most versatile pieces you can own, well you know except a multiway dress. It can be worn as a dress, be it sporty paired with Superstars or edgy with boots or elegant with heels. However you can also wear it as a blouse with jeans, like I styled it today or with a skirt. Today I tucked half of it in my jeans and slid it off the shoulders revealing a strapy bralette.

I was recently contacted by Zaful and after scrolling through their site, I fell for all the trendy pieces they offered at affordable prices. Shopping at an affordable price is the perfect way to test out the new trends and it's also a great way to play with your style.

For the first look I chose this embroidered shirt dress and this cute bralette. The sparkly bird details are what made me choose this dress, because embroidered details are all the rave right now and they offer a pop to the outfit, since the sparkles catch the eye.

Hipster Fun Camden

A fun and unique place to visit in London is Camden Town, which was filled with pubs and cute little restaurants, but also a mix of vintage, funky and quirky shops. It was different from the atmosphere in central London, would definitely recommend visiting it.

Now, can we acknowledge how majestic this unicorn is? I mean, just look at it! I simply had to take my pictures next to it. For the first time in a while, my look is a bit colourful combining a tartan shirt, which I wore backwards creating an open back. It offers a flirty vibe in a subtle way. To finish off the look, I paired it with these silver statement shoes.

Geometric See-through in London

This has to be my favourite look that I wore in London. It's all black, which shouldn't come as a surprise, but it has geometric and see-through details, which make it pop. The silver statement shoes make the look special and fun. If you pay close attention to the details, you'll see the taupe line on the shoes which match the bag perfectly. Of course that was planed to tie in the look. For accessories I went minimal with a choker and dainty bracelets. This just proves wearing all black doesn't look boring.

I took the pictures on Baker Street and in Notting Hill, which were some of my favourite places to visit and a high priority on my list. The pretty white and colourful houses make Notting Hill a dream neighbourhood. To be honest I fell in love with it and would love to live there. I'm sure there are a lot of you with me on this one.

Would you love to live in a perfectly cute London house?

Sunday Style Inspo: LFW

Another major Fashion Week has started and of course I'm talking about London Fashion Week, which delights us with unique creations. I chose my favourites, which include minimal, romantic and funkier styles. Everything looked delightful, but which were your favourites so far?

Like last time, I browsed the Vogue archives, which is where I got all of the pictures. Everything is linked, so you can go and check all of the collections out.

Have a pink-tastic day!
Kisses.
