Pastel blue men's shirt

Hello Dolls!

For today I have another outfit post prepared for you, this time raiding my boyfriend's closet in the process. This is something I've done in the past and plan on combining more outfits using his items. The inspiration came while browsing http://www.peek-cloppenburg.at, they had different pictures in the style category with elegant business men's wear. If you don't know the shop, Peek&Cloppenburg carry a lot of premium and stylish brands. Clothing shops always have attractive campaign pictures, which end up being a great inspiration and like I previously mentioned, I enjoy the look of men's fashion adapted to women. Underneath the blouse I wore a lace bralet to make me feel extra feminin, but also because I like the look of it peaking through. Do you like men's style on women?

Food Diary #24

Hi Dolls!

Haven't written a "What I ate today" post in a while, so here you have it. It was a kind of healthy day in my opinion. I did have about 1 1/2 kg watermelon for my first breakfast, but I forgot to snap a picture. Except my somewhat naughty treat, I ate loads of veggies and good protein. Since lunch was greek inspired and dinner thai you could say I had an international meals day. Did you eat healthy or have a cheat day today?

Breakfast : Mushroom & paprika scrambled eggs on avocado toast with a tomatoes and green tea.

Dreaming in Rose

I've been in a soft pink phase lately, as you might have seen in my Dainty little things and Nude Leather posts, so it may come as no surprise that todays outfit is in a blushing rose colour. My make-up consisted also of neutral rosy hues. It looks put together and feminine, my only regret is that I didn't have any sandals to make it appear more elegant. Anyway, how was your weekend?

Fitness Update and stuff...

Hi Dolls!

Haven't written a rambling post in so long. Today I just want to sit down with you, maybe grab a cup of tea or a coffee, and talk about various things. I'm currently drinking a big cup of green tea, which I know is weird seeing the scorching hot temperature, but I love tea. Some cupcakes would go perfectly with my mood and afternoon tea, however I'm not having any.

One of the themes I want to approach is fitness, but before getting to the subject please keep in mind that I'm not a qualified trainer or nutritionist, I'm not saying everyone should make the same decisions and lastly just because I do it doesn't make it better or right. I like talking about food and sometimes fitness, but don't want to come across in the wrong way, everyone should strive to be healthy and happy in their own way. At the beginning of the year I shared with you in my 2015 Goals post that I would like to exercise more. For the first couple of months I didn't do much, just light training inconsistently. However afterwards I started searching for different workouts on Youtube and Pinterest, but still working out inconsistently. Since the middle of April I got really into it, working out almost on a daily basis. Mostly, I enjoy Youtube workouts where someone is doing everything with me. I don't like the ones that tell you "and now repeat for x more times..."! My weight still fluctuates considering my eating habits, however I feel a little bit more fit which was and is the purpose. It makes me happy that I've worked out for myself and didn't get lazy after a few weeks. Of course the test is if I'll make it through the year, but at the moment I'm positive. Let's be honest, a lot of people have the resolution of working out more, but have you been keeping it?

I'm happy that I've managed to post more outfit post this month. In the June Outfit Review post I set for myself the challenge of posting more looks. The month isn't over, so I plan on sharing even more outfits with you. The spring and summer months are so much easier to style, or at least I like them better. Autumn fashion is also lovely, but harder to photograph due to weather conditions and in winter I just want to live in cozy sweaters and my UGGs.

BTW, can't wait to go home, in Bucharest. I've been so eager to visit since easter, I'm not even kidding you. Family time is very important for me, so it will be a lot of fun. Not gonna lie, also missing the food so prepare yourselves for intense Food Diary posts. As always traveling completes me, even if it's going home. I'm sad that there are no sea side travels in the near future, because I love swimming and the smell of the sea, lying in the sun (under an umbrella 'cause let's be honest ...I would burn faster than you can say "sea side" ahaha).

I think this would be it for now, I'll share with you more thoughts some other time. My tea was lovely, hopefully yours too.

Tartan Chic

As promised here is another look using tartan print, this time chicer and girly. The tartan is quite a busy pattern, which is why I enjoy pairing it with neutrals. I know some like to mix patterns, but momentary I'm sticking to my comfort zone. Since the blouse is made out of a light material, it was perfect for this hot day and it's surprisingly hot for Vienna. Seriously, I'm melting on a daily basis. Also, who else is addicted to ice coffee in the hot months? Honestly, I could drink it all day every day!

Dainty little things

Statement necklaces and jewellery have been the hype over the past few years, however lately I found myself drawn to dainty pieces. This outfit is very feminine and girly. For the make-up I opted for a few products, which are mascara, brow gel, a pink blush and a pink lipstick. Enough to make me look fresh, but nothing that could literally melt of my face due to the heat. I think it turned out really sweet and summery.

Royal Blue Tartan

Hello Dolls!

I've had this tartan blouse for a while now and because I love it to pieces, I wanted to find new ways of wearing it. Though it's a very casual outfit, it came out nicely and the colours are up my alley. I'll try to do more variations of this kind of look, but also more looks including tartan pattern.

This concept and discussion of reusing and repurposing on the blog might be familiar to you, if you've read this post. I clean out my closet regularly and donate a lot of clothes, then go shopping and repeat the cycle, which is somewhat of a vicious cycle. Then, sometimes come these moments when I think to myself that there are so many clothes in my wardrobe just waiting to be reinvented. What I'm trying to get across to you is to be more mindful when shopping. Think of all the various styles you could pull of with everything in your wardrobe instead of saying you have nothing to wear, which by the way I'm also guilty of. Hope you had a great weekend.

Sporty Rock n Roll

Hi Dolls!

The weather cooled down a bit these past few days, which led to this sporty-casual outfit. We went for a walk and something to eat. I like casual outfits but don't go as often for sporty, however I think I'll give them a go and try some combinations out. We'll see how that goes.

Food Diary #23

In this foodie post I want to share with you a few delights I enjoyed while in Italy, because seriously who doesn't like Italian food?! In my family, Italian food has been always highly appreciated. My father used to make us this awesome pasta using his own recipe, which I ask for as often as possible. I also love sushi, which is why we sneaked in some in our "Italian Diet". Everything was lovely and bursting with flavour. What's your favourite cuisine ?

Floral Outfit in Milan

 Hey Dolls!

Today I opted for a super summery dress, which incorporates different shades of blue and green. Even though I'm quite short, I really enjoy midi skirts and dresses, because they are very flattering in my opinion. As always, Milan was wonderful, though really hot. What are you doing on this hot summer day?

Outfit Expo Milano 2015

The theme of this years Expo is "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", where people are being informed about sustainability and healthy nutrition. The whole event should raise awareness and offer possible solutions to end world hunger. The event houses 145 countries, each built a representative pavilion and some have a restaurant where you can try different typical dishes.

For my outfit I opted for something light and summery, since there were 35 degrees outside. I held my hair in a high top bun in order to keep it out of my face and went for a bold lipstick. It was a nice kind of cultural experience, tiresome but definitely a must if given the chance.

Feathers & Heels

This weekend I decided to wear a feather-like skirt for a night out. I usually choose a centrepiece and then build the outfit around it, especially for clubbing or parties. The skirt is kind of elegant and different, so I wanted to dress it down a bit.

I don't usually like to take outfit pictures at night because the quality isn't at its peak. Since I don't own any studio lights, the pictures also tend to get a yellow undertone, sadly. Hope you still like the outfit though.

4th of July Outfit

Hi Dolls! Happy 4th of July to any American reader!

Today I wanted to wear a casual and low key 4th of July inspired outfit.  For the stripes I wore a navy and white blouse paired with a navy skirt, sadly I didn't own anything with red and white stripes so this will have to do. The accents of red came from my sneakers and my lipstick.

It was a lovely day filled with furry friends. Animals make me so happy and help me center myself. If you've been with me for some time, you may already know I enjoy a lot of activities which include hanging out and playing with animals. From time to time, when things get way to stressed, I think we should take time and meditate. Ok, not everyone is into meditation, however putting our phones on airplane mode and doing a relaxing activity is possible for most of us. Like I mentioned , being around animals and cuddling them helps me, but anything could work. Try going for tea or a picnic or a yoga class. What helps you destress ? Any other tips?

June Outfit Review

Hello July! Hope you'll be kind!

I liked the idea of outfit reviews of the previous month, so I'm writing it again this month. I wanted to get better and post more outfit posts this month, however that didn't happen. It's a challenge for July, which I'll hopefully accomplish. Which is you favourite outfit from June?
