Parisian Skincare Haul

I got a few bits and pieces while in Paris. Something that I've been dying to test out is the "La Roche Posay Serozinc". From my knowledge this is a product readily available in France, however very hard to get your hands on in other countries. It supposed to help with irritated skin, purify and sooth. La Roche Posay is a brand which works with my skin and I've enjoyed their products for many years now, so when I started looking for a hydrating face cream with SPF, it was no surprise they got me covered. I've been loving the Hydraphase UV Intense Legere Cream and am contemplating getting the hydrating serum from the same range.

A beauty cult product, which I really love, is the Bioderma. It really does the job and leaves the skin feeling wonderful. From Sephora I got two things, which I've researched beforehand. First a Glycolic Acid Serum, which I've been using only at night time and I really like it so far. Let me know if you would like me to film a skincare type video. The last product is the only make-up item I picked up, shocking I know. Again, this is a product which seems to be loved by a lot of bloggers and I understand why. It's the Sephora Cream Lip Stain, it has great and I do mean really great pigmentation and it doesn't transfer. I've been wearing it almost every time I put make-up on and that is saying a lot, seeing how many lipsticks and lip stains I own. I recommend it and it's very affordable.

Food Diary #20 Parisian Delights

I wanted to share with you what I ate on this trip, since travel eating isn't the same as my usual diet. It's the time where everything is justifiable, at least in my head. The first thing I ate after arriving, while still in the airport mind you, was a Pain au Chocolate. This was a matter that could not wait.

I didn't photograph everything, however I ate a lot of croissants, pain au chocolate and baguettes. To be honest, I don't regret anything fatty and unhealthy that I devoured. Hope you enjoy this Foodie post and sorry if it made you crave french pastries or made you hungry, it made me crave them all over again.

Salty crepes - definitely a must. Mine was with goat cheese and chorizo.

AC/DC Concert in Paris

The main reason for our visit to Paris was the AC/DC concert. It was my first time seeing them live and I was totally impressed. They have such a good vibe and are full of energy. I haven't been to a lot of concerts, however they are so much fun and give amazing vibes. Hearing the music live and feeling the energy is such an addicting and unique sensation. Do you love concerts?

Monochrome in Paris

Very tourist like, which I was one to be fair, but I had to include some pictures with me in front of the Eiffel Tower. We're halfway through the Paris posts and I wish I had more time to spend there. It was really nice to be able to explore a new city and I'm very appreciative of my opportunities. I really do believe traveling is one of the best ways of enjoying life. It's a personal preference and not everyone agrees, but that's the beauty of us all being unique individuals.

Parisian Affairs

On the second day of our stay in Paris we continued to explore as much of the city as possible, which was a rewarding and tiresome task. One of my favourite places was Pont Alexandre, though almost every place I visited was a favourite.

To spice it up, I tried to create a bow out of my hair, but sadly due to the heaviness of the hair it fell down after a couple of hours and looked more like a bun. However it was fun "playing" with my hairstyle, since I rarely mix it up. Hope you like it.

From Paris with Love

Hi Dolls!

In the next few days I'll share with you my Parisian Adventures, to say adventures is a bit too much but you get my point. It was my first time visiting Paris and I have to say it surprised me, mostly in a good way. It has an unexpectedly breathtaking architecture and everyone was beyond lovely, but it also had a couple of downsides on which I will not dwell. It was an amazing experience and definitely on my "travels bucket list". Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I'll let the photographs do the talking.

Stripes & Poppy Flower

Hi Dolls!

As the weather made a turn for the worst, I'm back to my "go to" ensemble for gloomy days. I like baggy blouses with skinny jeans, they balance each other nicely and make for a comfortable outfit. This time I opted for a striped white and navy blouse, while putting a poppy flower in my hair to make myself feel summer-ish. Hope that wherever you live, you're having a sunnier day.

White Lace Lioness

Have you noticed my obsession with fluffy and wavy hair? Since I got this haircut, one of my favourite styles consists of wavy and voluminous hair. I achieve it by sleeping with braids. After you wash your hair let it dry 70%, then braid it and sleep on it, literally. The next day you will have soft waves.

Incorporating some summer in my outfits with lace details and loads of white. I love wearing white in the warmer months and feel as if I should buy more clothing items in this colour. The pumps I purchased recently, in the last month or so, and even though they are highly uncomfortable, they do look nicely. Not everyone likes white shoes, but I'm enjoying the look at the moment.

Stay Inspired #8

In this "Stay Inspired" post I want to share with you my most loved Cannes looks. Red carpet looks are so much fun, they are glamorous and inspiring. They make you wish you had weekly gala events to attend, just to wear similar gowns. Which is your favourite ?

Smart Casual Spring Outfit

Finally I'm bringing you a more colourful outfit, which must be my first for this spring. Blue is one of my favourite colours for clothing and shoes, thus I had to incorporate it in my first spring-like ensemble. I went for a very simple combination, but one that never fails and looks lovely every time. Sometimes we underestimate or just forget that such a basic outfit still looks great. Basic, but well fitted items can create incredible outfits.

Cut Outs & High Waisted Jeans

Hi Dolls!

I celebrated this sunny day with a stroll in the park, where I decided to stop and take some outfit pictures. The outfit is very casual and simple, but the top has an almost mouth dropping back. Tops with exposed back are right up my ally and really fun to wear.

Make-Up & Manicure of the day 11.May.2015

Hi Dolls!

Today I'll share with you my current manicure and the make-up I applied today, including a close up of the products. The eyes are neutral, the whole make-up is very innocent and sweet. My nails show my excitement for spring with pops of pastel.

Food Diary #19

Hello Dolls!
Welcome to another "What I ate today" post.

The first thing I drank this morning, and every morning honestly, is warm lemon water and afterwards ate a grapefruit.

What's in my bag

Since I enjoy "What's in my bag" posts and vlogs, I wanted to write my own. Because I frequently change my bags, they are very neat and well kept. You won't find recites - which I keep in my wallet anyway - or any wrappers and loose stuff. The bag I'm currently using is a neutral taupe Furla one, which is really spacious, has a zipper pocket and two smaller pockets.

The two things you can always be sure I have in my big bags are my wallet and make-up bag, on which I've already done a post of. Of course I keep my keys and phone in my bag, but since I was at home they were misplaced somewhere. I have this pair of Forever21 sunglasses inside, which have no point what so ever if I'm not wearing contact lenses. The slight cat eye shape make them one of my favourite sunglasses. I keep the small camera in my bag in case I feel inspired and want to take pictures on the go. Lastly you'll notice a small note book with a pen, in which I write blog post ideas, shopping lists, directions, just small stuff.

Hope you enjoyed this type of post.
