Under the Eiffel Tower

Welcome to Paris, while still in Las Vegas. Paris is one of the cities I want to visit, but for know the Vegas parisian view will have to do. I had an eclair, a french style pastry, so I'm good. It is a lovely hotel and another new world you get to explore while in Vegas.

It's amazing and surprising how many details go into these hotels. They recreate so many cities and worlds, offering you the opportunity to visit some of  the most wonderful places possible.

This is the last post of this month and of the traveling series. I hope you enjoyed this concept and loved "exploring" these wonderful places with me.

Bellagio in Vegas

The Bellagio is one of the best known luxury hotels of Las Vegas, but what many might not know is that its inspiration came from the small city on the lake of Como, named Bellagio. I visited this city a few years back and it is a small coquette city. It really should be better known.
Back to the Hotel, try to imagine an abundance of luxury all in one giant hotel.

There's really no place like Las Vegas. Gambling 24/7, clubbing, drinking, shopping and visiting. All in the best way possible.

The Mirage

The Mirage Hotel is another luxurious hotel on the strip. They have a beautiful fire spectacle everyday, that would seem to be a response to Bellagio water fountain spectacle. However these are just speculations I have taken after seeing both shows, so don't hold me on that. Nonetheless, the show was lovely and the hotel grand and so green, as in full of gardens and surrounded by nature.

Flamingo Hotel Vegas

The Flamingo Hotel is well known for having actual flamingos inside. This was the most interesting thing for me, but also the weirdest. Maybe that's why it works so well. Needless to say that the garden was incredible and the flamingos adorable.

The Venetian in Vegas

Have you ever visited the romantic and beautiful Venice? Remember how picturesque and emotional it is. A similar feeling and look was recreated in Vegas in the beautiful Venetian Hotel. They have a gondola, so you can explore the recreation of the grand canal.

As a plus you are surrounded by luxury stores, so you can shop till you drop. Enjoy the pictures.

Caesar Palace Vegas

I want to start the Vegas series with the hotel I stayed at. The Caesar Palace is a gorgeous, out of this world hotel. It's an overload of luxury.

I will say "luxury" a lot in these posts, so prepare for that. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Vegas Baby!

 Hi Dolls!

We're almost at the end of this travel month. The last stop is Vegas, where I will show you some of the most luxurious and fabulous hotels on the strip. Vegas is sophistication, fun, games and over the top, so it's only natural for "your home for the weekend/week" to meet the high standards of the Vegas life.

In this post you'll see an overview of the strip during daytime and nighttime. I have to say, nighttime Vegas is my favourite.

Food Diary #2

This week turned into an italian week. I cooked some delicious lasagne, everything made from scratch, except the pasta. For the sauce I took two italian recipes and combined them in one.

I kind of had way to many cheat meals and it was so fantastic, I'm not even sorry. The good part is that even though I ate somewhat unhealthy, it was all homemade. So I would say it's not that naughty of me, since we cooked almost everything.

Pasadena

Pasadena is a small (in my opinion) city in the Los Angeles County, California. It is known for the Tournament of the Roses Parade held yearly, however we knew about it from the TV series The Big Bang Theory. We decided to stop by, have lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and walk around.

Such a wonderful World

The beauty of this wonderful place can not be described in words. I can't even imagine how much work went  into uniting so many "worlds" in just one giant fun park. The pictures don't do it 100%justice, since in reality it leaves a stronger impression. Hope you like the pictures thou.

Enchanting Day

Hey Dolls!

We all know and hear about this magical place, that makes you feel like a little princess, and we all adore the idea of it. I'm talking about Disneyland.  It really made me feel like a small child, waiting for an exciting event to occur. Sadly some of their most well-known rides were closed, which kind of bummed me out.

In todays post I'll share with you only the pictures in which I appear and in the next post the park and the parade. I am a child at heart and very proud about it.

Food Diary #1

Hi Dolls!

Todays post will differ from what you usually see on my blog. It's experimenting even more with the lifestyle concept and I'm thinking of writing such a post from time to time on Sundays, but remember not necessarily every week.

I saw a similar concept reading the blog of a beauty and fashion blogger, who does a "What I ate Wednesday " post. I wanted to show you what I like to eat in a week, however do not expect every meal that I ate. What you will see, will be both my healthy and some-what unhealthy treats of that week.

This week I want to show you, in comparison with my "vacation diet", my "home diet". I want to clarify a very important thing. When I say "diet" I do not mean "I am on a diet", but am referring to my eating choices. I do not deprive myself, but I do try to eat healthy!

LACMA

LACMA is a place I insisted on visiting. For those of you who perhaps don't know it, LACMA stands for Los Angeles County Museum of Art. I had wished to go at night time, however that was not possible. I am pleased also with taking the pictures during the day, but they would have been more awesome at night. Maybe some other time.

Los Angeles

Hi Dolls!

I know I had announced February as my traveling month, but since I got the opportunity to travel and capture in pictures some wonderful places, I want to prolong the traveling posts. I want to share with you all the places I got to see. So "officially" I declare March also a traveling month.

I will also write outfit posts, as I have been in February, but expect a lot of traveling posts.

Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills is such a busy and hectic city, which makes it hard to love for some people. If you love fashion then you would love it. Not only will you find the most gorgeous high end fashion boutiques, that have displays that make your heart smile, but they also have a lot of street-style fashion.

I had a lot of fun walking down the streets and window shopping. And what they say about the traffic in the L.A. area is totally true. At the beginning I thought it wouldn't be that bad, but yes it is. Staying in traffic is never fun, but once you arrive your destination all is forgotten. Hope you enjoy these pictures.

Universal Studios Hollywood Part 2

As announced : here is part 2 of the Universal Studios Posts. Like I said last time, sometimes we have to get in touch with our inner child. Based on that theory, I decided to meet some of my favourite characters and take a lot of pictures.

Universal Studios Hollywood Part 1

Hey Dolls!

Here is the first part of the Universal Studios Posts I'll be writing. As expected the experience was incredible, I didn't think I would like it this much actually.

I got to see the actual cars from the Fast and Furious movies, the Desperate Housewives Set where the Series was actually shot and many more amazing sets. The tour of the studios was unbelievable and so informative. The park was a blast, of course.

Sometimes we need to have fun and act like kids in order for us to never loose our inner child, which is the one who keeps us so imaginative and creative. Spending an entire day in an amusement park gets me in my childish mood and I would suggest everybody should have fun like they used to when they where little. It keeps your soul young and fresh.

Santa Monica to Venice Beach

Dolls...

You know how sometimes you plan something and nothing goes accordingly? Well usually it goes worse that you imagined, however in our case it got better. We wanted to visit Santa Monica Pier, then take a stroll and take a bus or taxi to Venice Beach. I felt extra positive that day, so I proposed we should walk to Venice. An offer that my boyfriend accepted wondering if I knew what I was getting into. I didn't know! There are 3 miles so about 5 kilometres of walking in the sand.

Anyways... that was a great exercise for the day, but not the amazing thing that went for the better. We saw dolphins swimming in the ocean! How incredible is that? They were so close , I couldn't believe it. Seeing them swimming freely is almost as beautiful as it is to see them in front of me. They were meant to live like this and it warmed my heart up to see these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.

Wine Tasting in Mexico

Hey Dolls!

On our vacation we also got to go experience a wine tasting in Ensenada, Mexico. We had a tour of the distillery  and found out about the history of the mexican wine. We were lucky enough to visit two distilleries, but at the last one we didn't get any tour. However we got to know the woman who started this winery, La Casa de Dona Lupe. She was a lovely lady and a pleasure to meet.

Needles to say, in both places we got to taste some delightful aromatic wines. Hope you enjoy the pictures I took that day!

Clinique Haul

Dolls...

Spring is finally here! The weather is unbelievable in Vienna : it's sunny and warm.
To celebrate spring here is a Clinique mini beauty haul. This year they came out with the most beautiful blushes : they have the shape of a Gerbera flower and come in four spring colours. I went for the colour "Peach Pop" and I couldn't be more happy with my choice.

I've been a Clinique product user since forever, mostly skin care. I learned a lot about the brand from my mother. I was the kind of lucky child who always got Clinique or Estee Lauder Beauty and Skin care items. At that time maybe I didn't appreciate it as much as I should have, but now I do. I don't use just this brands, of course, but something that I always repurchase and will probably remain in my routine is the Clinique "Clarifying Lotion". I am curios to try other high end lotions, but this one is my holy grail.
