Food Diary #6

Hi Dolls!

It's time for another "Food Diary" post and it will feature what I ate today! I have been on a health kick in the last couple of weeks, so be warned it will be extremely heathy and I like it this way! As I have mentioned before, I actually enjoy eating healthy and being health conscious, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy unhealthy alternatives. However moderation is key.

Have a pink-tastic day!
Kisses!

I try to start everyday eating some fruits, sadly it doesn't happen all the time. I love fruit, it's refreshing and sweet, not to mention good for your body! Nectarines help prevent cancer and assist the metabolism.
The second part of my breakfast consists of sandwiches. These are rye, pumpkin seed bread with tofu, tomatoes and paprika. As always I'm also drinking 0,5l of green tea. Green tea maintains a healthy circulatory system and has antibacterial properties.
Lunch consisted of lentils with asparagus and sun-dried tomatoes. Asparagus has anti-aging properties and is full of anti-oxidants, while the lentils lower cholesterol levels and stabilise blood sugar.
Dinner was delicious! These are salad wraps, sort of. The bottom layer consists of avocado, paprika, tomatoes and onion, with smoked salmon on top and sprinkled with sunflower seeds. I made a lot, but they were delicious nonetheless. Avocado is rich in vitamin E and helps prevent against stokes. Paprika and tomatoes are high in vitamin C and reduce the risk of Alzheimers disease, while sunflower seeds help protect the skin and strengthen the bones. Salmon is a superfood rich in vitamin D, B12 and boosts immune system.

I didn't follow any recipe, I just used what I had and came up with these meals. I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. I know not everybody will have the same taste in food as I do and it's perfectly fine. My conception of healthy food isn't necessary the right one : some might think it's extreme, others that it's not healthy enough. I am trying my best to be as healthy as I can.

    1. ahaha Thanks! I try my best and of course I still have cheat days!

It's ok to eat more, as long as it's a healthy alternative. Don't give up on trying!
